Video Breakdown of Lightning Collection MMPR White Ranger

Posted on August 18, 2018 at 4:13 pm by Den-O under Power Morphicon, Power Rangers

“It’s Morphin’ Time!

Announced at Hasbro’s Power Morphicon panel earlier today, the new Lightning Collection is already shaping up to be a fantastic replacement for Bandai’s now defunct Legacy 6.5″ line of figures. This amazing new line of 6″ scale, show accurate, accessorized, and affordable ($19.99) figures is a welcome addition for collectors worldwide.

Via the official Power Rangers Twitter account, we also now have access to the video shown announcing the line at said panel. This video breakdown gives us a look at the entire construction and production process of the prototype seen at the Con today. Which was then displayed publicly by Hasbro after the show.

Exclusive Legacy Mighty Morphin Armored Red Ranger Coming Soon To Gamestop!

Posted on June 13, 2018 at 10:06 pm by Paladin under Power Rangers

Looks like fans of the Power Rangers Legacy action figure series are in for one last treat!

A new listing at GameStop has revealed an upcoming exclusive Legacy action figure- Mighty Morphin Armored Red Ranger! This will be an excellent entry for fans of the iconic Dragon Shield configuration.

The Legacy Armored Red Ranger is listed with a price tag of $19.99 USD and has a tentative release date of November 15 2018! However, price and release details are subject to change. Stay tuned to TokuNation for further details on this exciting Legacy entry!

UPDATE TO STORY: A lot of readers have inquired on whether or not this is a Legacy 6.5″ action figure, or if this could be a Legacy flip head figure. To that end – we honestly don’t know for sure. What we DO know – “AF” stands for “Action Figure” in GameStop listings, so the speculation that this is a Pop! Vinyl is probably inaccurate.
The $19.99 price tag attached puts it at the same price range of the two Legacy figure assortments (both 6.5″ and flip heads). The assumption made is that GameStop has shown increased interest in selling items for collectors – specifically the Legacy lines – and this is another offering. Who knows – maybe the Psycho Ranger girls show up at GameStop in Spring 2019.

As a young adult, Tommy Oliver set upon a journey that would inspire hundreds of Power Rangers that would come afterward, thwarting evils like Empress Rita Repulsa, Lord Zedd, and King Mondo of the Machine Empire. Now, Tommy’s retired with Katherine and leaves protecting the world to Space Patrol Delta–including his son, JJ. But when Jake disappears, presumed dead after an undercover mission goes wrong, Tommy will call on all his training, his friends, and maybe even some of his enemies as he sets out on one last mission: find his son and bring him home.
