It’s be a month of long and hard fought battles between the your favorite Zords & Megazords but at long last Megazord Madness is over! And the Final 5 zords, and by extension the Rangers who commanded them, to come out on top are:

– Titanus (MMPR Red Ranger)
– Dragonzord (MMPR Green Ranger)
– Delta Command Crawler (SPD Shadow Ranger)
– White Tigerzord (MMPR White Ranger)
– Red Dragon Thunderzord (MMPR Red Ranger)

With consistently strong toy sales, TV ratings, and a growing fan base of both old and brand new fans, is it any wonder Power Rangers has become the international success it is today?

Power Rangers Monday is back! Over the course of the 20 year history of Power Rangers, there have been some amazing battles that still stick with us to this day. Some of the more infamous battles over the course of the franchise’s history include things like the Red Ranger fighting the Green Ranger during Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, as well as the White Ranger vs Green Ranger battle from the third season of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. And then there’s the team ups – everything from two seasons coming together to the anniversary battles of Forever Red and Once A Ranger.

We decided to dig a little deeper – leaving all the season team up episodes and anniversary episodes behind. Those will always be awesome and may always be in your top 5. The Official Power Morphicon convention is now officially the largest one yet with over 80 confirmed Power Rangers actors, writers, voice actors, producers, and more scheduled to attend. The guest list grew some more today with the announcement of two new guests!

  • Michael Copon (“Lucas”, Power Rangers Time Force Blue Ranger)

Hey fans of Power Rangers!  If you’re in to conventions, you need to make sure you head to this year’s official Power Rangers convention, Power Morphicon!  Held this year at the Pasadena Convention Center on August 22nd through the 24th, it is the SUPER MEGA place to get your Ranger-on with the largest gathering of past and current Power Rangers actors, as well as actors from other American tokusatsu series like VR Troopers, Masked Rider, and Kamen Rider Dragon Knight!  This year is going to blow all the other years out of the water with the announcement of the following Power Rangers!

  • Austin St. John (the original Red Mighty Morphin Power Ranger and the Gold Zeo Power Ranger)
  • Matt Mullins (Wing Knight on Kamen Rider Dragon Knight)
  • Monica May (the Yellow SPD Power Ranger)
  • Kevin Duhaney (the Blue Dino Thunder Power Ranger)
  • Jeff Parazzo (the White Dino Thunder Power Ranger)
  • Alyson Kiperman (the Yellow Wild Force Power Ranger)

With those additions you will have a Power Ranger from almost every single season of Power Rangers!  Even more awesome, with the addition of Monica May, fans of Power Rangers SPD will be super-excited to know that the entire core cast of SPD Power Rangers is now in attendance to appear!  There are also a ton of behind-the-scenes guests, like writers, directors, and members of the stunt team.  But the biggest announcement, without a doubt, is the return of Austin St. John who has been out of the fandom for a few years now.  What a perfect time to get your S.H. Figuarts Red Mighty Morphin Power Ranger signed!  Or in my case, a Power Rangers Super Legends Gold Zeo Ranger!

For the third year running, the Lexington Comic & Toy Convention returns to Kentucky! If you haven’t heard of the show by now it’s quickly become THE east coast convention for Power Rangers actors! As the one big show that Kentucky has each year LexCon draws in attendance from all over the region with last years numbers surpassing 10,000! This convention will run from Friday March 14th- Sunday March 16th at Heritage Hall, Rupp Arena Convention Center. If you can make it to the show trust me, it is worth your while. Shout! Factory’s last super-season boxset of “Power Rangers” finally has a release date. Years 13-17 will be available on April 1st, 2014!

This final volume, containing SPD, Mystic Force, Operation Overdrive, Jungle Fury and RPM has a suggested retail price of 129.99 and can currently be pre-ordered from Amazon.com!

Shout! Factory has reported a production delay in the Power Rangers Legacy boxset, due to a potential quality issue in the helmet design.

 

Previously scheduled for release in December, the new official release date is January 2nd, 2014.

 

Fans will just have to wait a bit longer to own these first twenty years on DVD.
