“S.P.D. Emergency!”

His home planet Sirius decimated by Emperor Gruumm, Anubis Doggie Cruger came to Earth as commander of the law enforcement organization Space Patrol Delta. Cruger would protect the galaxy many times and mentor teams of Power Rangers for a number of years. The greatest team being Earth’s eventual saviors, the S.P.D. B-Squad. As heroic as they were, in desperate times Cruger used his Patrol Morpher to become the sworn defender of the galaxy, S.P.D. Shadow Ranger!

Another wonderful addition to wave 1 of Hasbro’s Lighting Collection line of figures, the S.P.D. Shadow Ranger is absolutely one of the most demanded figures in the line by fans. It’s been 14 years since SPD aired and this character’s popularity has maintained, not to mention the demand from fans of Tokusou Sentai Dekaranger for a figure of Deka Master. The LC Shadow Ranegr figure at it’s $20 price point offers a wealth of articulation as well iconic accessories like the Shadow Saber, Patrol Morpher, and even an un-morphed Doggie Cruger head! For fans of both Power Rangers and Super Sentai, this figure is a must own.

Even more new images from the new Power Rangers Lightning Collection have been released online! Thanks to GrnRngr.com for the discover!

These are the first in-package shots featuring White Ranger, Lord Zedd and the Shadow Ranger!

As previously speculated, the Shadow Ranger has an unmorphed head based on the American Doggie Kruger design. MMPR White also comes with a head resembling Tommy Oliver.

Zedd however does not come with a separate head.

Preorders for these new Lightning Collection figures have not yet been opened at the time of writing. Stay tuned to TokuNation for further details on this remarkable new collector series!

Easily the most exciting display of the weekend at this year’s Power Morphicon was the enormous amount of screen used props that Hasbro brought with them to the show. Ranging from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers all the way through Power Rangers Super Ninja Steel, fans were given a treat seeing these props up close and personal.

So of course we busted out our camera and took as many high resolution pictures as we could! Who knows if or when we will ever see these again? Every single prop that was on display is pictured in this news story. Click the title of the story to see them all!

The biannual Power Morphicon has come and gone but we’re still sharing images from the event! There were so many things to take pictures of and so little time to do it that we’re still catching up! Hasbro pulled out all the stops in their first-ever Power Morphicon by cracking open the vaults and showing off some Legendary Rangers goodness in a number of costumes and props from the last 25 years.

SPD Emergency!

The good people at Shout! Factory have announced the next Complete Series DVD release for Power Rangers!

Next up is Power Rangers SPD– featuring the adventures of the Space Patrol Delta facing off against the sinister Troobian Empire.

SPD: The Complete Series will be released on DVD on March 14, 2017! The price is a very modest $19.97 USD for all 38 episodes!
