Awhile back it was announced that there would be a DVD feature for Kamen Rider Gaim entitled “Hyper Battle”, which would be out of continuity of the show and mainly feature your favorite characters from Kamen Rider Gaim in previously unseen arms changing armors. So for example, Kamen Rider Gaim could wear the Melon Arms from Kamen Rider Zangetsu. As part of the promotion for the upcoming DVD, Ganbarizing.com threw up some images of these arms changes, featuring your heroes in-suit wearing new arms. One of the highlights is seeing Kamen Rider Zangetsu in multiple different armors (and I have to admit, using Ryugen’s armor looks beautiful!). A teaser at the end of the page hints that the next update will feature Kamen Rider Gridon, Kamen Rider Kurokage, and Kamen Rider Knuckle swapping various armaments.

The cat’s out of the bag – we found out at the end of the latest episode of Kamen Rider Gaim that our good buddy Kaito, aka Kamen Rider Baron, is somehow going to get himself his own Energy Lock Seed. We now know it’s none other than the Lemon Energy Lock Seed, and that he will henshin in to the Lemon Energy Arms Baron! The eagerly anticipated Kamen Rider Gaim – Showa vs Hesei Movie features two very unique Lock Seeds – the Showa Lock Seed and the Heisei Lock Seed. During the film, it’s been previewed that Kamen Rider Gaim will use the Showa Lock Seed to henshin and use the Number One Arms, made up of the earlier Kamen Riders. As we reported a couple of days ago, the attendees of the upcoming Kamen Rider Gaim Summer Movie will receive a free Lock Seed simply for viewing the movie in theaters. Thanks to the Fruit Rider News blog, we have an image of the item and a description – it’s a Kamen Rider Gaim (literally, aka the Hesei Rider Lock Seed) Lock Seed that’s clear – titled the Theater Special Clear Version. For those collecting Lock Seeds, be prepared to possibly pay a hefty price to get your hands on this one!

Hey Power Rangers fans – we’ve got some news for you courtesy of our good friend raz! Through a recent trip to his local Toys’R’Us, he was able to dig in to the system and pulled up the preliminary listings for the third wave of Power Rangers Super Megaforce Ranger Keys assortments, which included more specific information as to what keys will be in each pack. Check it out below.

  • 38265 – Alien Rangers – Red, Blue Black
  • 38266 – Dino Thunder – Red, Blue, Black
  • 38267 – Operation Overdrive – Red, Blue, Black
  • 38268 – Jungle Fury – Red, Blue, Yellow
  • 38269 – RPM – Red, Blue, Yellow
  • 38278 – Super Megaforce B – Metallic Red, Regular Pink, Regular Yellow
  • 38279 – Mighty Morphin B – Armored Red, Green, White

For those keeping track, that’s two more female keys (Jungle Fury Yellow, RPM Yellow) and, as predicted, all Jason David Frank Rangers will be fully represented in the line with the release of the Green and White Mighty Morphin keys. Notably absent from this list is the Alien White Ranger Delphine, who acted as leader of the Alien Rangers, and Kira, the Dino Thunder Yellow Ranger who was part of the three core members of Dino Thunder.

Austin St. John, better known as Jason Lee Scott the Red Mighty Morphin Power Ranger and Zeo Gold Ranger recently returned to the fandom after being gone for many years while serving as a medic in the middle east. Through his official Facebook page he has done another audio clip, this time answering some of the more burning questions that fans have been asking on his page.

Why did he decline the 20th Anniversary reunion episode in Power Rangers Super Megaforce? What conventions will he be attending, and are any overseas? Would he be open to returning to the Power Rangers franchise? These questions and more are answered in this audio clip below! And many fans can’t help but notice a slight “dig” at Jason David Frank, which would stem from a long feud between the two actors which stem mostly from comments made redundantly by Jason David Frank at nearly every convention appearance. Many collectors just don’t simply have the green in their wallets to be able to afford all the cool stuff that comes out. And some of us simply don’t like various things because of the lack of articulation or just how something looks. When it comes to Bandai of Japan DX Mechas, sometimes articulation is sacrificed for playability and a gimmick. Such would appear to be the case with the DX ToQOh, where many collectors were just turned off by an awkward standing robot that has very limited articulation. If you’re one of those collectors who passed on that figure because of those reasons, then the Mini-Pla ToQOh just might be what you’re looking for.

Featuring nearly identical transformations to the full size toy, this figure should normally cost you roughly $25 before shipping for a set – though expect prices to go up as the item goes out of stock and is phased out of assortments. Be sure to subscribe to baltmatrix’s YouTube channel so you can stay up to date on all these great figures and toys coming out for various franchises. I am an owner of this figure and I cannot recommend it enough – especially if you’re a fan of model kits or have been a lifelong Gundam builder and never ventured outside that realm. You will not suffer any buyer’s remorse on this item – except for the stickers. They continue to become a pain release after release.
