The adventures of Kamen Rider Zi-O will be coming to an end soon, but there are still a few more surprises left in this exciting anniversary series!

Actor Taiko Katono will be reprising his role as the Grim Reaper, Machin Chaser from Kamen Rider Drive! Machin Chaser is seen with a new army of the Mechanical Lifeform Roimudes , but the full story of their return has not been confirmed at this time.

The release of the first Reiwa Era Kamen Rider is drawing ever closer, and toku retailers are prepping for the beginning of the Kamen Rider Zero-One toyline!

A plethora of new official images have been released highlighting several of the first Zero-One DX releases, including:

*The AIMS ShotRiser, the signature Driver of Kamen Rider Vulcan & Kamen Rider Valkyrie! The ShotRiser will be released with the DX Shooting Wolf Progrise Key.

*The DX Progrise Holder, a carrier for the various Progrise Keys used by the Zero-One Riders. The Holder release will include the DX Rushing Cheetah Progrise Key.

*The DX Attache Calibur. a carrying case that converts into a sword weapon for Kamen Rider Zero-One.

Rounding out the lineup are two more entries in the RKF action figure series- based on Kamen Rider Vulcan & Kamen Rider Valkyrie!

These items are all scheduled for release in late August 2019 and should be available from all preferred Kamen Rider retailers. Stay tuned to TokuNation for further details on this exciting new Rider series!

We are growing closer and closer to the premiere of the first Kamen Rider in the Reiwa Era and to mark the occasion we now have our first batch of magazine scans starring Kamen Rider Zero-One!

As stated previously, Kamen Rider Zero-One fights using the Progrise Keys that convert animal abilities into combat data. Zero-One’s signature Key is the Rising Hopper which makes him extremely fast and agile. Using this form Zero-One can deliver a Rising Impact attack to defeat enemies. Kamen Rider Zero-One’s second form is activated by the Flying Falcon Progrise Key, unlocking flight capabilities and new red armor.

Zero-One lives in a world where humans share their existence with androids known as HumaGear. While most exist peacefully, there is a terrorist group known as MetsuboJinrai that insists HumaGear are superior to organic beings and use their abilities to force android bodies to attack civilians.

The A.I.M.S. force exists in this world to protect humans from attacks- led by the Rider duo Kamen Rider Vulcan & Kamen Rider Valkyrie! Vulcan uses the ShootingWolf Progrise Key while Valkyrie holds the RushingCheetah Progrise Key. Vulcan is described as a “wild fighter” while Valkyrie’s abilities are more precise.

Kamen Rider Zero-One is officially scheduled to begin on September 1st 2019! Stay tuned to TokuNation as we keep you up to date on this remarkable new series!

In the immortal words of Woz,
“Rejoice! He is heir to the power of all riders”.

Kamen Rider Zi-O is nearing it’s end and the impending start of the Reiwa Era of Kamen Rider is on the horizon. And as this series and the Heisei Era come to an end, Tamashii Nations has just released the first of Zi-O’s power ups in figure form. S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Zi-O Build Armor is the first stepping stone along Sougo Tokiwa’s path to the future where he rules. Will he be a benevolent overlord, or succumb to the evils of Oma Zi-O? Time will tell.

For now, we’re tackling this first in a line of Zi-O Armor Time upgrades in the same we always have, with a comprehensive gallery & review! Zi-O Build Armor set the standard for what was to come with many of the shows’ various power ups as well as many that never made it in. This figure likewise sets an incredibly solid & stable standard for how the Zi-O line should progress from here on. A stylish figure with tons of personality inherited from both of it’s parent designs, and armed with the Drill Crusher Crusher (yes!) it’s an excellent addition to the power set of this benevolent overlord.

Premium Bandai has revealed two new Ridewatch releases for the soon to be released Kamen Rider Zi-O: Over Quartzer film!

First up, a 3-pack for the villains exclusive to the film! These are Ridewatches for Kamen Riders Barlckxs, Zoshinj, & Zamonas. Each of these characters is of course based on the unique riders who qualify as Heisei Kamen Riders, but aren’t generally counted towards the era. Each of their watches interacts with the previously released DX Ziku Driver. This set details for 4950 yen and will be released as P Bandai exclusive in December.

And to round out the movie watches, a brand new watch for Kamen Rider Zi-O will also be released. The Zi-O Oma Form watch will be actually be releasing a month earlier than the above 3-pack, in November. Based on Oma Zi-O, this movie exclusive power-up will give Sougo all the strength and abilities of the future overlord Oma Zi-O! This watch will be released in November as a P Bandai exclusive for 2220 yen.

Shy, anxious, fearful, Wataru Kurenai would rather craft violins like his father Otoya. But as the son of the Fangire Queen as well, he was destined to become Kamen Rider Kiva, the Fangire King! And like the King’s before him Wataru has one trusted partner, a member of the Kivat family, Kivat Bat III. With Kivat in tow, Wataru sets out to fight Fangires and protect humanity, just as his father did (occasionally) 20 years prior. Now it’s time to break the chains on a review we’ve waited years for with S.H. Figuarts Shinkocchou Seihou Kamen Rider Kiva!

As the Heisei Era ends, Tamashii Nations has at long last delivered on the promise of completing the 20 Heisei Riders! With Kamen Rider Kiva, the entire lineup of main riders is complete, and let me say, it’s incredibly satisfying. Kiva brings to a close an era of incredible heroes and does so in gorgeous fashion. With the trademark accuracy and engineering of the Seihou line, Kiva looks as though he walked right off the set. Including his 6 Fuestles, the Hell’s Gate leg for his Rider Kick, a Ridewatch Tamashii Stage, and the ever present Kivat Bat III, Kiva is a tremendously welcome sight to any Kamen Rider collection.

COUNT THE MEDALS!

It’s a double whammy of Kamen Rider OOO goodness today! Joining alongside our magazine scan magazine coverage of S.H.Figuarts Shinkocchou Seihou Kamen Rider OOO GataKiriBa Combo, Bandai recently revealed the next entry for the SO-DO Chronicle Kamen Rider series, with Kamen Rider OOO himself.

Of course, So-Do Chronichle Kamen Rider OOO will be starting off with the default form itself: TaToBa Combo. Further release info is pending as of this article, but we can tell from the photos that it’ll come with his Medajaribur weapon, a long with a decent range of articulation.

We’ll be providing you with more info as it becomes available so stay tuned for further updates.

The latest batch of magazine scans are starting to appear and in them we get a look at some of the Tamashii web exclusives heading our way in 2020!

First up is S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Geiz Revive! As seen in previous preview images, this figure will be able to switch between both Goretsu and Shippu forms and comes packaged with the Zikan JaClaw. It will release in January 2020 priced 8250 yen.

Next up is S.H. Figuarts Shinkocchou Seihou Kamen Rider OOO GataKiriBa combo! The second of OOO’s forms to arrive in the Shinkocchou Seihou range, this figure will release the following month in February 2020 for 7150 yen.

Yet another veteran Kamen Rider will be making a comeback in the anniversary celebration series known as Kamen Rider Zi-O!

Actor Mitsuoka Matsuoka will reprise his role as the NEVER Rider; Kamen Rider Eternal!

Eternal was first introduced in the Kamen Rider W movie and was popular enough to receive a separate V-Cinema release detailing his origins.

In a surprise bit of news, Tamashii Nations has just revealed S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Grease Perfect Kingdom!

Hailing from the upcoming Kamen Rider Grease New World V-Cinema, Perfect Kingdom incorporates elements of Kazumi Sawatari’s allies the Hokuto Three, into his Grease form. Continuing a really solid trend of V-Cinema forms getting figuarts in recent years (GenM Level Billion, Kamen Rider Heart, & Kamen Rider Mach Chaser to name a few) Grease Perfect Kingdom will be released as a Tamashii Web Exclusive. Slated for release in February 2020, Perfect Kingdom retails for 6600 yen.
