We need Ultrazord power NOW!

One of the biggest toy releases of the year for many Power Rangers and Super Sentai collectors will no doubt be the upcoming massive Soul of Chogokin King Brachion from Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger. Or more commonly as he’s known by fans that grew up with Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Titanus.

The big mama jama will be released later this month, and just in time for his release, we have our first in-hand look at this impressive mammoth of a toy thanks to some photos found by @Tokullector

Soul of Chogokin GX-85 King Brachion is still available for pre-order via site sponsor BigBadToyStore. If you missed out on the Megazord/Daizyujin, a restock will be happening March 2019.

One new image has surfaced online from the upcoming Hasbro Power Rangers lineup!

This is our first real look at the Megazord from Power Rangers Beast Morphers! This combo was referred to as the Beast X Megazord in previous listings, and is comprised of three Beast Zords.

While details are sparse at the time of writing, this design does seem very faithful to its counterpart- Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters’ Go-Buster Oh.

Looks like Power Rangers may be headed back to theaters once again!

During a financial call to discuss future projects, Hasbro CEO Brian Goldner revealed that Hasbro was currently in discussion with longtime studio partner Paramount Pictures to prepare the next Power Rangers movie.

What relation any new project might have to the 2017 cinematic release by Lionsgate is anyone’s guess. But at the moment, no further details about the future of Power Rangers on the silver screen have been announced.

Two more images from the first Hasbro produced Power Rangers toyline have been released!

*First up is the Power Rangers Beast Morphers Beast-X Ultrazord! This is a non-combining version of the ultimate Beast Morphers combination, featuring lights and sounds. The suggested retail price for Beast-X Ultrazord is $39.99 USD.

*Next up is an item from the Hasbro subsidiary PlaySkool! For the even-younger fans, we have the Morphin Megazord Playset! Based on the Wild Force Megazord from Power Rangers Wild Force this Megazord converts from Robot to Beast in a single step! Suggested retail price for the Wild Force Morphin Megazord is $59.99 USD.

Both figures are currently scheduled for release in Fall 2019!

After months of speculation and rumor, we at last have our first look at the first Power Rangers toys from Hasbro!

These roleplay items are the first of several releases currently scheduled for the Power Rangers Beast Morphers toyline. The toys announced today include:

*The Beast-X Electronic Saber, the sidearm for all Beast Morpher Rangers.
*The Cheetah Beast Blaster, a weapon for the Red Ranger that fires darts.
*The Cheetah Claw, a melee weapon used by the Red Ranger.

Finally, Beast Morpher Ranger masks have been shown off- featuring the Red & Blue Ranger designs.

All items have an expected release date of Spring 2019.

“It’s Morphin’ Time!”

After an early leak this morning, Hasbro & nWay Games have officially announced their new joint game venture with Lionsgate in Power Rangers Battle For the Grid! Official press release:

“For over 25 years Power Rangers has been one of the most popular franchises in the world. As a perennial Top 10 NPD Action Brand, the globally renowned brand has spawned hit TV shows, movies, toys, comics, live entertainment and games. Today, nWay, the developer and publisher behind Power Rangers: Legacy Wars, the hit multiplayer mobile game with over 45 million downloads, is partnering with Hasbro and global content leader Lionsgate to announce Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid. The new cross-platform fighting game will be available as a digital download for $19.99 first on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch in April 2019, and then as a PC release later in the year.”

The popular mobile game Power Rangers Legacy Wars was released almost 2 years ago to quite a bit of excitement from fans. nWay games really struck a chord with fans of the franchise in creating the beat ’em up fighting game. However the game being limited to mobile has been the source of complaint from some fans. Now it looks as though nWay is about to take the game, or at least some version of it, to a wider market.

A trailer has appeared online (featuring Jason David Frank) showcasing what appears to be a new console & PC port of the game called Power Rangers Battle For the Grid. While nWay Games has yet to publicly reveal the game themselves, or even comment on the veracity of the trailer, it certainly looks like we’re about to get a console & PC port of the popular fighter. The game is reportedly set for an April 2019 release. Let us know what you think in the thread below!

If you’ve somehow managed not to pick up the multitude of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers DVD releases over the years – whether the individual season sets, the series set, the 20th Anniversary collector set, or the steelbook series set – you’re in luck because yet another release is on the horizon!

Shout! Factory has announced an upcoming steelbook DVD release of the first season of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. Containing the first 60 episodes of the series (otherwise known as Season 1) and a steelbook cover of the Mighty Morphin Black Ranger, this set is scheduled to release April 16th and is available to order directly from Shout! Factory for $27.99.

Fans continue to wait for an individual release of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie on Blu-Ray, which was available in the 25th Anniversary set released last year. As of the time of this story, Shout! Factory has not changed their stance from “It is currently only available in that set”.
