Toku Toy Box: S.H. Figuarts Machine Kivaa Options Parts Set Gallery

Posted on December 15, 2019 at 3:22 pm by Den-O under Contests and Giveaways, Kamen Rider, TokuNation, TokuNation Site Updates, TokuNation Spotlights

“Wake up!”

Struggling with the duality of his human & Fangire parentage, Wataru Kurenai protected humanity from his own monstrous kind. As Kamen Rider Kiva, Wataru fought for justice, but he also needed a ride. Built by the mysterious Motobat the 16th, and entrusted to Kiva by Kivat Bat III, the Machine Kivaa is a mighty machine worthy of the Fangire king!

Tamashii Nations has done Kamen Rider Kiva fans an incredible solid with this release. The Machine Kivaa Option Parts Set gives fans everything they could possibly want to compliment their Kiva collections. Not only do we get the the Machine Kivaa, a stylish modification of the base Honda Shadow 750 model, but also Kiva’s other signature props. The regal throne we see Kiva sat upon often, particularly in the series opening, as well as the Bloody Rose. The magnificent violin created and played by Wataru’s father, Otoya. This set really is a love letter to a show that’s often derided, but is absolutely one of the most stylish series out there.

Toku Toy Box: Power Rangers Lightning Collection Dino Charge Red Ranger Gallery

Posted on December 12, 2019 at 8:33 am by Den-O under Contests and Giveaways, Power Rangers, TokuNation, TokuNation Site Updates, TokuNation Spotlights

“Unleash the power!”

Arriving in Amber Beach to find his missing father, Tyler Navarro could never imagine what really lay ahead for him. By chance both he and soon to be allies make contact with the Energems! Ancient crystals that channel the Morphin Grid and the energy of the universe. Entrusted to the ancient dinosaurs by the mysterious Keeper, these Energems have chosen Tyler and the others to be the next generation of Power Rangers! To defend the Earth, to defeat the villainous Sledge and his crew, to unlock the ultimate power of the universe, in a world full of strife the Dino Charge Red Ranger fights to survive!

The Lightning Collection line has been going strong for the better part of a year now. Pumping out regular releases in the form of full waves, two-packs, and store exclusive single figures has made it hard to keep up on occasion. But finally we’ve made our way back around to finish off Wave 1 with the Dino Charge Red Ranger!  An overlooked gem of the first wave, DC Red is a solidly constructed figure with a lot more fine detail than you notice at first glance. Armed with the Dino Charge Morpher, the Dino Saber, an effect part, extra hands, and an unmasked head, this figure is the total package.

Toku Toy Box: S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Build Trial Form Rabbit Dragon Gallery

Posted on December 8, 2019 at 10:25 am by Den-O under Contests and Giveaways, Conventions, Kamen Rider, Other Conventions, TokuNation, TokuNation Site Updates, TokuNation Spotlights

This is the end!

Two Earths, a single future. To save his world Sento has gambled everything on the power of Pandora’s Box. Opening a bridge between universes, and using Evolt’s energy as the catalyst, Sento seeks to fuse the two worlds to save them both. To create a New World, without Evolt. And with Ryuga’s help, one last experiment to save humanity begins. Gold & Silver, Rabbit & Dragon, Sento AND Ryuga. Build’s final transformation, his Trial Form is born! With the unstable power of two Kamen Riders, can Sento save the New World he wishes to build?

Trial Form is an absolutely stunning repaint & remold of the solid Rabbit/Tank release of Build. Released as a Tamashii Nations 2019 exclusive (alongside Seihou Diend), this gorgeous figure is a must have addition to any Build collection. And that’s not simply because it represents the ultimate power of Sento & Ryuga’s friendship, but because it also includes the Pandora Box! This accessory has been demanded by Build collectors since the show was still airing, and now that it’s finally here maybe you can stage your own 3-sided war for it’s power in your collection.

We’ve got a full 70+ image gallery after the jump, as well as our review of the S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Build Trial Form. Just click “Discuss on the TokuNation Forums” at the bottom of this post to be taken to the thread. Toku Toy Box: Power Rangers Lightning Collection Mighty Morphin Pink Ranger Gallery

Posted on December 5, 2019 at 8:16 am by Den-O under Contests and Giveaways, Power Rangers, TokuNation, TokuNation Site Updates, TokuNation Spotlights

“Pterodactyl!

Like any teenager, Kimberly Hart used to be concerned with trivial things. But when an inter-dimensional being summoned her and her friends to defend the Earth from a recently freed ancient sorceress, that went out the window. Pterodactyl power coin in hand, Kimblery morphs into the Mighty Morphin Pink Ranger! Kim fought the forces of evil for years until she found a worthy successor to her power. But her legacy still lives on in the generations of rangers who have come since. This morphinominal heroine at last joins (most of) her teammates in the Power Rangers Lightning Collection!

The Pink Ranger is the first new Mighty Morphin ranger mold we’ve gotten in the line so far. Previously we’ve seen 3 outings of the male MMPR body type with Dragon Shield parts and recently even the more basic Red Ranger release. So Pink Ranger really is refreshing to see for a change of pace. With some new design choices and articulation cuts, it’s a bit different affair to the boys, in a good way. Armed with the Blade Blaster, Power Bow, and two different arrows, the Pink Ranger is ready to take out the Putties in your collection!

We’ve got a full 60 image gallery after the jump, as well as our review of the Lightning Collection Pink Ranger. Just click “Discuss on the TokuNation Forums” at the bottom of this post to be taken to the thread. And remember, commenting in this gallery will qualify you for one (1) entry in our annual Toku Toy Box giveaway! Offical rules HERE.

Toku Toy Box: S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Zi-O Decade Armor Gallery

Posted on December 1, 2019 at 10:11 am by Den-O under Contests and Giveaways, Kamen Rider, TokuNation, TokuNation Site Updates, TokuNation Spotlights

Kamen Ride! Wow! Decade! Decade! Decaaaaaade!

With Tsukasa Kadoya’s arrival, the world is always in danger. The Destroyer of Worlds has witnessed or instigated the destruction of many, for better or worse. And allying himself with the Time Jackers raises many questions. But entrusting his power to Sougo, raises even more. Decade Ridewatch in hand, Zi-O will don the Decade Armor to face both Kamen Rider Decade, as well as Ohma Zi-O! Will the power of the 10th Heisei Rider be enough, or will Sougo have to take some of the power of Ohma for his own, just to survive?

Joining the Zi-O line up of S.H. Figuarts, Decade Armor gives us our 4th Sougo in the line. And although I’ve yet to handle Zi-O II, each is just unique enough from the last to give it a slightly different feel and personality. While much of this mold is engineered similarly to previous outings, this one is more or less all new. Armed with the Ride Heisaber, this powered up form may make a great addition to your Zi-O collection.

We’ve got a full 60+ image gallery after the jump, as well as our review. Just click “Discuss on the TokuNation Forums” at the bottom of this post to be taken to the thread. And remember, commenting in this gallery will qualify you for one (1) entry in our annual Toku Toy Box giveaway! Offical rules HERE.

Once again it’s the time of year that the community and our staff love most – time for all of us to celebrate our respective holidays & traditions with the friends and loved ones we hold dear. But it’s also time for TokuNation.com to celebrate itself. Our little community is hitting another milestone this year, our 8 year anniversary!! January 4th 2020, will officially mark 8 years since TokuNation first went public as part of the network of TFW2005.COM, ToyArk.com, HissTank.com and of course our newest sister site PWRRNGR.com, through both network owner Tony_Bacala and our founder and original Editor-In-Chief, TokuChris.

For 8 years now we’ve posted news, rumors, toy galleries, videos, and even dabbled in podcasts for a bit (never forget Talkin Toku!). As times have changed we’ve done our best to change with them, delivering you content in different ways, covering new and exciting topics, and trying to improve our social outreach. But he one true constant that’s been with us since our first year, that you can expect every year? The annual Toku Toy Box giveaway!

Like years’ past, TokuNation is hosting an annual holiday giveaway open to ALL registered users! You’ll recall that in years’ past giveaways, users could post in a selection of galleries within the contest period to automatically be entered into the drawing for several prizes. Like last years giveaway, not only will we be posting a number of eligible galleries throughout the month of December, but every gallery we’ve posted in 2019 also makes you eligible! If you’ve already posted in the 1 of the over 40 galleries we’ve produced this year, then you’re already entered. If not, you already have over 40 chances with more on the way this month! To show our appreciation to you, the community, we’ve assembled a number of individual prizes for our users, which we’ll be revealing through out the month.

Click “Discuss on the TokuNation Forums” at the bottom of this post to be taken to the OFFICIAL RULES for Toku Toy Box 2019! The first new gallery of the giveaway period will be posted later today, so be on the lookout! For now though, thank you. Thanks to all of you who continue to call this place your home for news, discussion, images, sales, friendships, artwork, videos, podcasts, and everything else in between. Toku Toy Box: S.H. Figuarts Shinkocchou Seihou Kamen Rider Ibuki Gallery

Posted on December 20, 2018 at 2:56 pm by Den-O under Contests and Giveaways, Kamen Rider, TokuNation, TokuNation Site Updates, TokuNation Spotlights

Iori Izumi was born into the head Oni family of the Kanto region. A prodigy driven by loyalty to his family, and to his duty to defeat the Makamou, Izumi fully abandoned his human identity and fully became the Oni of the Izumi family, Kamen Rider Ibuki! After nay years of waiting, this master Oni of Breath arrives blow away any Makamou that stand in his path. For the first time ever, Ibuki makes his debut in the S.H. Figuarts line as a Shinkocchou Seihou!

Kamen Rider Hibiki finally joined the S.H. Figuarts line for the first time over 4 years ago, as only the 2nd Shinkocchou Seihou release, which set the bar fairly high at the time. After a long wait Hibiki’s secondary rider has arrived, so what can you expect? Well Ibuki shares the same physical body as Hibiki, just with new cosmetic changes to the armor. Decked out with brass styled pipes mimicking the Ongekikan Reppuu instrument he uses to destroy Makamou. Much like Hibiki this figure is packed down with accessories including his transformation whistle Onibue, and 3 disc animals. It’s really the full package.

The full gallery is linked below, just click “Discuss on the TokuNation Forums” to be taken to the complete review. Remember, this gallery qualifies you for entry in our annual Toku Toy Box giveaway as well! As the upcoming holidays allow us, we’ll have at least a couple more new galleries for Toku Toy Box as well. Look out for Garo, Amazons, and Kamen Rider Ex-Aid content headed your way!

Toku Toy Box: S.H. Figuarts Shinkocchou Seihou Kamen Rider Wizard Flame Style Gallery

Posted on December 16, 2018 at 1:06 pm by Den-O under Contests and Giveaways, Kamen Rider, TokuNation, TokuNation Site Updates, TokuNation Spotlights

“Flame, Please.”

Haruto Soma was the only survivor of a dark Solar Eclipse ritual which saw the creation of a legion of monsters known as Phantoms. Assuming the likeness and identities of those humans they emerged from, Phantom’s invade the world of humans and use magic to wreak havoc. Only one man can stop them, the one who faced despair head on in the light of the eclipse and emerged to gain the power of magic from his hope. Haruto Soma became Kamen Rider Wizard!

FINALLY, after languishing for 6 years with one of the worst S.H. Figuarts ever made, the Shinkocchou Seihou renewal line has finally tackled the rider of hope! Kamen Rider Wizard Flame Style is possibly one of the most stunning and astounding figuarts I’ve ever handled. A magnificent recreation of a dynamic suit design, this stylish figure is everything that Wizard fans have ever wanted. Interchangeable Wizard Rings, a multi-mode WizardSwordGun, and fully poseable Wizard Robes(!), make this one of the nicest Seihou releases to date. But don’t just take my word for it, see 100+ images in our full gallery thread!

The full gallery is linked below, just click “Discuss on the TokuNation Forums” below to be taken to the complete review. Remember, this gallery qualifies you for entry in our annual Toku Toy Box giveaway as well! We’ll have another Toy Box gallery coming up this week to, as we revisit the Oni Riders of Kamen Rider Hibiki in over 4 years!

Toku Toy Box: S.H. Figuarts Shinkocchou Seihou Kamen Rider W Luna/Trigger Gallery

Posted on December 11, 2018 at 7:59 pm by Den-O under Contests and Giveaways, Kamen Rider, TokuNation, TokuNation Site Updates, TokuNation Spotlights

“Luna/Trigger!”

Toku Toy Box continues on and it’s time we return to a windy city called Fuuto, to revisit everyone’s favorite half-boild detective! When Shotaro Hidari & Philip combine their minds they become one as Kamen Rider W! But when the situation calls for something else, new Gaia Memories give W the edge he (they?) needs to take on the Museum’s Dopants. Using the Luna & Trigger Memories, Kamen Rider W Luna/Trigger is formed!

The Shinkocchou Seihou line up of premium S.H. Figuarts renewals has been giving fans the long awaited do-overs they’ve requested for over 4 years now. Kamen Rider W Cyclone/Joker was perhaps one of the best figures to come out of this renewed line, though many many good figure’s have since as well. But that mold has proven to be near perfect in any of the various ways it’s been released. Luna/Trigger is just yet another amazing use of the Seihou W mold. If you know anything about this body type at all, you know you’re going to love this figure as well.

We’ve attached the full 60+ image gallery of S.H. Figuarts Shinkocchou Seihou Kamen Rider W Luna/Trigger to this post. You can also check out our full review thread of the figure by clicking “Discuss on the TokuNation Forums” at the bottom of this post. Next time Toku Toy Box gets *HOT* with a magical gallery from Kamen Rider Wizard!
