Let’s start this news post off by saying that a majority of us have always been big fans of Kamen Rider Gaim and the Arms Change gimmick. And many fans have already proclaimed that the Kamen Rider Ex-Aid show seems like a cross between Kamen Rider Gaim and Kamen Rider Drive, but with video games. That was certainly a quick turn around. Only today were we provided with our first looks at any of these figures. Now the Tamashii Nations website has officially opened it’s Ex-Aid section for public viewing giving us our first official images & release info for:

These figures will be made available in a special 3-pack called the Kamen Rider Ex-Aid Mighty Action X Beginning Set. As a bonus, a repaint of the 1st run bonus Gaim beat riders stage is included decked out with the Mighty Action X game logo. This massive 3-pack is confirmed for release in March 2017 for a whopping 15, 768 yen. The best news though is that this 3-pack is going to be a retail release!

In a rather shocking turn of events we’ve just gotten the surprise reveal of 2 more riders from Kamen Rider Ex-Aid, but in a 3-pack! That’s right a 3-pack is in the works featuring Kamen Riders Ex-Aid, Brave, & Snipe!

This unique release will be out in March 2017 and retails for 15,768 yen. Currently we have no other details as far as included accessories or release venue (retail or exclusive). But given this is our first look at Brave & Snipe we’re likely to see both and learn more about all 3 riders during the currently ongoing Tamashii Nations 2016.

We’ll keep you up to date with any and all information from the event that becomes available, so stay tuned!

A new round of magazine scans has come online, giving us a look at the future adventures of Kamen Rider Ex-Aid!

This month is all about the new Rider Forms- LEVEL 3! By inserting a second Gashat into the GamerDriver, the Riders can unlock special powered armor to enhance their combat skills even more.

*The enigmatic Kamen Rider Genm was the first to demonstrate his LVL3 form, using the Shakariki Sports Gashat to unlock his Sports Action Gamer LVL3 configuration. These scans may at last reveal Gemn’s true identity!
*Ex-Aid gains the Gekitotsu Robots Gashat and becomes Kamen Rider Ex-Aid Robots Action Gamer LVL3.
*Brave obtains the DoReMiFa Beat Gashat so he can transform into Kamen Rider Brave Beat Quest Gamer LVL3
*Lazer sheds his vehicular configuration with the Girigiri Chanbara Gashat to become a stand-alone rider, Kamen Rider Lazer Chanbara Bike Gamer LVL3.
*Snipe finds the Jet Combat Gashat and uses it change into Kamen Rider Snipe Jet Combat Gamer LVL3.

Last but certainly not least, we have some images from the upcoming Kamen Rider Heisei Generations teamup film!

*Kamen Rider Ghost receives the Ex-Aid Eyecon to transform into Kamen Rider Ghost Ex-Aid Damashii!
*The ultimate villain of this exiting crossover, Dr. Pac-Man is finally revealed! He has a unique army of Bugster soldiers to fulfill his desires.

What a busy weekend! From New York Comic Con 2016 to the teaser trailer for the upcoming Power Rangers Movie to brand new episodes of your favorite tokusatsu shows – it’s been toku-fan heaven! Thanks to a new listing on Amazon Japan we have a fresh set of official images for Level Up Rider LVUR2 Kamen Rider Brave!

Kamen Rider Brave is looking pretty great as the second entry in this years retail toyline. We’re quite the ways off from any S.H. Figuarts from Ex-Aid existing, but it looks like these neat LVUR series figures will do the trick for the time being. According to this Amazon JP listing Brave will be released on October 8th, so we won’t have to wait long for him!

With the debut of Kamen Rider Ex-Aid looming overhead, Toei’s finally released the first full length preview for next year’s show online, giving us a glimpse of not only how the characters interact with one another but a few scenes with Kamen Rider Brave, Kamen Rider Snipe, and Kamen Rider Ex-Aid in action.

Toei’s annual press conference officially announcing the newest Kamen Rider series was held yesterday in Japan, giving us some exiting new details about the people responsible for the 18th Heisei Rider show- Kamen Rider Ex-Aid!

Particular highlights from this press conference include:

*The name Ex-Aid was coined from “Extreme” and “Aid”. The protagonist is referred to as a Doctor × Gamer who fights against the mysterious game viruses known as the Bugstar. As previously known, there will be various video game genres such as Action, RPG, Shooting, and Racing. Each genre will be represented not only by a Kamen Rider but by various effects that will be featured in fight scene!

*Ex-Aid’s human name is Emu Hojo, played by Hiroki Iijima. Emu is a medical student (studying pediatrics) at Seito University Hospital, which appears to be the central location for this series. In his off-hours, Emu is known simply as “M”- a genius-level gamer.

*Next in the cast is Kamen Rider Brave, aka Hiiro Kagami, a physician at Seito University portrayed by Toshiki Seto. He is normally rude & condescending towards Emu but is willing to fight alongside Ex-Aid to stop the Bugstars.

*Rounding out the Riders is Kamen Rider Snipe, real name Taiga Hanaya (portrayed by Ukyo Matsumoto.) This young man USED to be a doctor, until an unrevealed incident caused his medical license to be revoked.

*Our female lead this time around is named Asuna Karino, played by Ruka Matsuda. She is a nurse working for the Ministry of Health, and also has a mysterious secondary identity known as Poppii Pipopapo.

*Kai Shouma plays the early antagonist, Bugstar leader Palad.

*Working behind-the-scenes for most events is a figure named Kuroto Dan, president of the game-designing Genmu Corporation (played by Iwanaga Tetsuya.)

*Kamen Rider Ex-Aid’s theme song, EXCITE! will be performed by famous Japanese recording artist Daichi Miura.

At last we have some up-close scans of the upcoming Kamen Rider Series, Kamen Rider Ex-Aid!

Among other details revealed by early scans, it seems the underlying secondary theme of this new series is medicine.

*Our hero, Kamen Rider Ex-Aid (human name: Houjou Emu is a medical intern, who encounters a mysterious lifeform known as the Bugsters.
*The next warrior, Kamen Rider Brave (whose true name is Kagami Hiiro becomes a Rider to study this new lifeform.
*Rounding out the early group is Kamen Rider Snipe, (aka Hanaya Taiga) a FORMER doctor who loves videogames and seeks a new challenge.

Working behind-the-scenes on the Riders’ new adventures is the mysterious Genmu Corporation, a game-development company which may have connections to the Bugster attacks.

Following the brief teaser image from yesterday, we now at last have some official new details for the 18th Heisei Rider series- Kamen Rider Ex-Aid!

This series will apparently be video game themed. Kamen Rider Ex-Aid’s default pink/purple form will be called Ex-Aid Action Gamer Lvl 2.

Perhaps most exiting, this series will again feature MULTIPLE Kamen Riders from the start! Two new Riders are revealed alongside Ex-Aid in these early scans:

*Kamen Rider Brave RPG Gamer (the blue and silver suit)
*Kamen Rider Snipe Shooting Gamer (wearing a green cape)

Two more Riders have been revealed in toy catalog scans:

*Kamen Rider GENMU- (a black repaint of Ex-Aid)
*Kamen Rider Racer- created when Ex-Aid’s motorcycle transforms into a humanoid form.

All Riders appear to use the same Driver- which, according to previous trademarks, is called the GamerDriver. It appears the Driver uses miniature devices (referred to as Gasshat in early trademarks) to make the Riders Level UP and unlock new powers.
