Soul of Chogokin King Brachion/Titanus First In Hand Look!

Posted on February 12, 2019 at 11:45 am by Kiryu under Power Rangers, Super Sentai

We need Ultrazord power NOW!

One of the biggest toy releases of the year for many Power Rangers and Super Sentai collectors will no doubt be the upcoming massive Soul of Chogokin King Brachion from Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger. Or more commonly as he’s known by fans that grew up with Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Titanus.

The big mama jama will be released later this month, and just in time for his release, we have our first in-hand look at this impressive mammoth of a toy thanks to some photos found by @Tokullector

Soul of Chogokin GX-85 King Brachion is still available for pre-order via site sponsor BigBadToyStore. If you missed out on the Megazord/Daizyujin, a restock will be happening March 2019.

SO-DO Chronicle Den-O, Shinobi, Quiz, and Kikai Teased!

Posted on February 10, 2019 at 1:44 pm by Kiryu under Kamen Rider

SO-DO is bringing the Climax with the next set of SO-DO Chronicle: following the recent Kamen Rider W set, the next Rider series to join the list will, of course, be SO-DO Chronicle Kamen Rider Den-O

In addition to that, the trio of future Riders from Kamen Rider Zi-O will be joining the line as well. Kamen Rider Shinobi, Kikai, and Quiz will all be released together in their own set in June with a sample of Shinobi himself having been shown.

We don’t know when SO-DO Chronicle Den-O will be released but be sure to check back with us and we’ll be sure to let you know the next time Bandai’s candy toy blog gets updated with this info.

New Mecha and Ryusoul Gold Incoming?

Posted on February 7, 2019 at 12:28 pm by Kiryu under Super Sentai

We’ve only just recently had our cast reveal, and yet more information for the much anticipated Kishiryu Sentai Ryusoulger has come our way.

The following information comes from CraneJoe, who lists a Ryusoul Gold Sentai Hero series vinyl in June and DimeVolcano as the next Mecha. This seems to suggest that we may be getting our 6th team member earlier compared to past series.

In addition, CraneJoe lists a DX KishiryuOh set which presumably contains all five mecha for the main team due out in April for 13,400 yen.

Of course, the scans themselves have yet to come out. But given CraneJoe’s track record, we have reason to believe that this information is accurate. Still, please take this with a grain of salt until we get more information.

Possible 3rd Quarter Kamen Rider Zi-O Toy Catalog Revealed?

Posted on February 7, 2019 at 12:08 pm by Kiryu under Kamen Rider

FUTURE TIME!

New information regarding the future of Kamen Rider Zi-O toys has surfaced. A post from Cranejoe himself suggests that Zi-O and Woz could be due for future upgrades and additional powers.

The post from Crane Joe suggests that we’ll be getting two new Ride Watches in the future: The DX Woz Ginga Miraide Watch and the DX Grand Zi-O Ride Watch. The former will be released in June, and the latter in May both retailing for 3,200 yen.

Keep in mind that the scans themselves have yet to drop, but CraneJoe has been accurate in the past so we have reason to believe that this listing could be true. Still, until the official toy catalog gets scanned so do take this posting with a grain of salt.

ULTRA HEROES TAMASHII Shanghai Exclusive Figuarts Announced

Posted on February 1, 2019 at 2:30 pm by ZeoRangerV under Ultraman

Throughout the month of March Bandai Tamashii Nations will be holding a special ULTRA HEROES TAMASHII event in Shanghai, China. As well as featuring displays of the previously released (and hopefully forthcoming) Ultraman Figuarts, the event will also have special commemorative items on sale. Among them are special “Ultra Heroes Tamashii Limited” versions of the previously released S.H. Figuarts Ultraman Geed Primitive and S.H. Figuarts Jugglus Juggler figures!

Not much has been confirmed about these figures yet, but from these single images we can see that they will have more weathered colour schemes to their mainline counterparts (with Geed also featuring red eyes that more closely match his father Belial), as well as recoloured accessories. Geed’s Wrecking Burst effect part will be red and black (as opposed to the original’s blue and red), while Juggler’s Serpent-Hearted Blade will now have a red blade part.

ULTRA HEROES TAMASHII is a free event that will be held at the Shanghai Longshan Railway Bridge Tianchi from the 1st to 31st March. Both Figuarts will be available at the event and retail for 390 RMB each. Check out the full-sized images after the jump!

Kishiryu Sentai Ryuusouger: New Clear Images Released

Posted on December 12, 2018 at 11:46 am by Kiryu under Super Sentai

For those of us that are just tuning in and missed the big announcement: Kishiryu Sentai Ryusouger was announced  as the 43rd Super Sentai series proceeding the currently airing Kaitou Sentai LupinRanger VS Keisatsu Sentai Patranger. Clearer versions of the initial toy catalog scans have been trickling out since then, and thanks to some new pages that have been uncovered we have some new details regarding this forthcoming series.

It’s been rumored for quite some time now that Super Sentai will be going on a bit of a break in February, that rumored break is now confirmed via these new scans. Kishiryu Sentai Ryusouger won’t be airing till March until then Toei will be releasing historical Super Sentai videos throughout February on YouTube. Rumour has it that Captain Marvelous/Ryota Ozawa of Gokaiger will be hosting hese videos, though nothing official has been confirmed regarding these videos, so please do take this with a grain of salt.

In addition to that, clearer scans of both the roleplay toys and mecha were also released. The scan shows us a glimpse at how Ryusouger will transform and it seems like the team will perform some sort of dance before initiating the change, an element very reminiscent of Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger.

There’s still a lot we don’t know about the new Sentai on the block, so stay tuned and we’ll keep you up to date as new info becomes available. In the meantime, make sure to hit the jump and join us in the discussion thread.

Godzilla King of the Monsters S.H. MonsterArts Revealed

Posted on December 1, 2018 at 3:24 am by ZeoRangerV under Godzilla

The Tokyo Comic Con is currently underway in Japan this weekend and among the extensive displays from various companies is a special treat for Godzilla fans. Bandai Tamashii Nations have revealed their S.H. MonsterArts figures for next years Godzilla: King of the Monsters movie, with Godzilla, Mothra, Rodan and King Ghidorah on display!

This marks our first proper look at the three iconic kaiju that will be joining the King of the Monsters for this film, and though there have been some changes (Mothra’s body in particular) it’s clear that Legendary Pictures have remained relatively faithful to Toho‘s original designs.

Stay tuned to Tokunation for more news about these figures’ release as it comes, but in the meantime you can check out full-sized images of these fantastic re-imaginings after the jump!
