But with the passing of their founder, Korenosuke Hiden, the duties & responsibilities of president have passed on to his grandson, Aruto. Authorized to use the Progrise Keys & Zero-One Driver, this young man will fight to build a world where Humans & Humagers can coexist and smile together, as Kamen Rider Zero-One!

The Reiwa Era has begun with the first fantastic release from Kamen Rider Zero-One! I must say that Rising Hopper is an excellent design that’s translated to figure form rather perfectly. Exuding personality and functionality, Zero-One really has knocked it out of the park with it’s first release. While this figure isn’t armed with much aside from additional hands (his weapons comes with Vulcan) it’s undeniable how stylish and realistic this figure looks in person. And of course there’s that added bonus of black light reactive parts to drool over!

“Black Hole! Black Hole! Black Hole!”

Evol’s strongest form finally arrives  with an S.H. Figuarts release! Originally teased quite some time ago, Evol Black Hole will be a perfect compliment to the recently released Evol Phase 1.2.3 set, which we reviewed back in March. Now that this alien menace will finally be complete thanks to the powers of the Evol Trigger, you can add him to your collection for 7700 yen in November 2020. Black Hole will be released as a Tamashii Web Exclusive and we recommend you don’t wait this one out, it’s likely to go up in value based on the first Evol release.

Ready! Fist On!

Bandai Tamashii Nations have revealed that the next figure to join the S.H. Figuarts Shinkocchou Seihou range will be Kamen Rider IXA! The secondary Rider from Kamen Rider Kiva that appears in both the 1986 and 2008 portions of the show, IXA will be a Tamashii web exclusive with preorders opening on 25th May. 

Further details, such as release date, price and accessories will be announced in the coming week!

Possibly one of the most popular Ultramen in franchise history is coming around for a victory lap for his 10th anniversary. 10 years ago the young upstart hero Ultraman Zero made his debut and ever since he’s grown to be one of the most memorable and lasting characters the franchise has ever produced. Now a mentor to the latest hero from Tsuburaya productions, Ultraman Z, Tamashii Nations has just announced a brand new S.H. Figuarts release for Zero!

Releasing in October 2020 S.H. Figuarts Shining Ultraman Zero is headed our way as a Tamashii Web Exclusive for 6600 yen. Making this Zero’s 5th figure since Ultraman made the switch from Ultra-Act to S.H. Figuarts, it’s clear that this ever popular hero can always turn a profit. What can the future hold for further Figuarts Ultraman Zero releases? Time will tell! Just revealed by Tamashii Nations Kamen Rider Zero Zero-One (001) is about to join the S.H. Figuarts line up of Hiden, AIMS, and ZAIA Kamen Riders. Set for release in October 2020 Zero Zero-One will retail for 6600 yen. The figure will be released as a Tamashii Web Exclusive as well. Tamashii Nations has revealed the next proper release in the Super Imaginative Colosseum series!

This time, the Orphnoch Hunter Kamen Rider 555 (better known to some fans as Kamen Rider Faiz) will receive a heavily-stylistic revamp!

Early concept art demonstrates the new Faiz figure will include a brand-new take on the signature Faiz Gear– a briefcase which transforms into an assortment of weapons.

Sadly, no price or release details have been confirmed at time of writing. Stay tuned to TokuNation for further updates!

It’s been 8 years since the events with the Inves, since Kouta Kazuraba left Earth. Now, Takatora Kureshima finds himself in the war torn Torkia Republic, the old testing ground for the Yggdrasill Corporation’s Project Ark. The populace lives largely underground amidst secret deadly battles that gangs of young men are forced to engage in, using the powers of Kamen Riders! As these proto-riders battle, and Takatora struggles to regain his memories, scheming characters from his past have their own goals. Has Takatora truly changed? Can he escape his past? Will the true Kamen Rider Zangetsu take the stage once more?

Kamen Rider Zangetsu Kachidoki Arms is a brilliant release from Tamashii Nations. Taking the now 6 year old Gaim Kachidoki Arms mold and giving it a fresh color pallet and some new parts, Tamashii has managed to create a fitting final form for the elder Kureshima brother. Armed with the Kachidoki Flags & DJ Gun Taiken Mode, this figure will be a commanding presence in any collection. And if you happen to have the other Zangetsu releases on hand, you’ll see just how perfectly this form fits in with the family.

The Day of Ohma. The day when Zi-O would assume all his powers and rule the world, in one future. In another, Sougo Tokiwa gave up his Ziku Driver and another Kamen Rider, Geiz, would rise up to save the world. In a world where time has seemingly stopped, the True Savior was born. Now, as prophesied by White Woz, the Geiz of the present is headed towards a fateful battle with Zi-O. With the powers of the future in hand, Myokoin Geiz becomes Kamen Rider Geiz Revive!

Goretsu! Shippu! Continuing a recent trend from Tamashii Nations, the True Savior Set for Geiz Revive comes equipped with the parts necessary to recreate either of his powerful forms. By default we have Goretsu, the bulky power based form armed with the Zican Jaclaw in it’s saw form. A beast of a form with all the bulk to back up it’s blows. With some pretty easy parts swapping though you can assemble the stunning blue Shippu form. This speed based flight capable form is armed with a new form for the Jaclaw as well and it’s, a claw! Both forms have their merits but I’m happy to report that either is actually very well thought out and designed. Thankfully Tamashii is getting better and better at form swapping with S.H. Figuarts.

“Looks like we’re in the same boat!”

800 years ago the King, the first OOO, oversaw the creation of the Greeed. Given life by the Core Medals these creatures filled with immense craving, were unable to fill the voids of their beings. The Greeeds sought to consume the world of man to sate their sense of craving, but before they could they were sealed away by OOO. In the present, Eiji Hino was minding his own business when the seal on the Greeed was broken by Ankh, releasing them once more. Forever craving to be whole, only the power of the King can stop them. Intending to find a human pawn, Ankh stumbles upon Eiji and a bond is made. Handing the Driver of the king and the Core Medals over, Ankh allows Eiji to become Kamen Rider OOO! Beginning as a begrudging alliance, one of the greatest friendships in Kamen Rider history is born. Anything goes it’s coming up OOO!

Shinkocchou Seihou OOO came out at the tail end of 2019 but we’re just getting around to this figure for 2020, and I couldn’t be happier. For years the original line of OOO figuarts have irked me with their various issues, but now we have a fresh start and what a glorious one it is. A gorgeous figure that looks as though it walked right off screen, armed with the Medaljalibur, capable of combo changing with other Seihou OOO releases, and posing with the best of the best, OOO is a very welcome addition to my collection. DANGEROUS!

Everyone’s favourite zombie God is back for another yet another iteration, Bandai’s official S.H.Figuarts blog was recently updated with a plethora of new photos showcasing the S.H.Figuarts Kamen Rider Genm Level X-0 figure, first seen at a Tamashii Nations event way back in 2018. 

Further release details on this bad boy are pending, and at this moment in time we aren’t sure if the Continue pipe will be included or not. None of the less, be sure to tune back with us once pre-orders become available and we’ll provide you with more info as it becomes available.
