Thanks to Saban Brands we have the official press release for the upcoming season of Power Rangers Dino Charge! While this press release doesn’t really give us anything new in terms of news except that on Nick.com there will be a new Power Rangers Dino Charge – Unleash the Power game launching on February 16th.

Los Angeles, CA (January 20, 2015) – Saban Brands and Nickelodeon will debut the 22nd season of the iconic Power Rangers franchise, Power Rangers Dino Charge, on Saturday, Feb. 7, at 12 p.m. (ET/PT). Premiering on Nickelodeon, the new season will deliver more dino-charged action and adventure than ever before, with an out-of-this-world storyline and an epic new team of Rangers. New episodes from this larger-than-life season will continue to air every Saturday at 12 p.m. on Nickelodeon in the U.S., with encore episodes airing Sundays at 8 a.m. on Nickelodeon and Saturdays at 7 p.m. on Nicktoons. The dinosaur theme has always been the strongest for Saban’s Power Rangers franchise from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers to Power Rangers Dino Thunder, priming this newest season to become a fan-favorite with the return to the popular theme for the first time in over 10 years.

In Power Rangers Dino Charge, an alien entrusted powerful Energems to 10 dinosaurs, but when the dinosaurs went extinct, the Energems were lost. Now, an intergalactic bounty hunter is determined to reclaim the Energems and rule the universe, destroying our planet in the process. A new team of Power Rangers must find the lost Energems and use their Dino Chargers to power up an arsenal of dino-fueled weapons, zords and Megazords to save the world!

Drive: Type Fruits! On Stage!

Kamen Rider Drive is knocking it out of the park again with another release in it’s Tire Koukan toy line, TK-SP Kamen Rider Drive Type Fruits!

This form, based on Kamen Rider Gaim’s trademark Orange Arms & exclusive to the Drive X Gaim Full Throttle movie, takes the asymmetry of Drive’s base Type Speed and mixes it up with some very interesting samurai armor. The Type Fruits Tire included creates some new hip & shoulder armor & a kasa style hat completes the samurai look. But as a a true Gaim homage it isn’t complete without a Daidaimaru & Musou Saber for Drive to wield! 

As far as movie exclusive forms go, this one is definitely one of the more interesting. And once again, our favorite youtube reviewer Baltmatrix has also contributed a video review of Drive Type Fruits. Check out the full video below!

It’s Morphin Time with Power Rangers In Space and Let’s Watch Wednesdasy! If you thought you’d seen it all by now with this show, you were wrong. A major blast from the past is here!

Thanks to one of Astronema’s monsters Carlos injures Cassie. Doubting himself Carlos wonders if he’s even fit to be a Power Ranger anymore. Luckily an old friend and ally, Adam, returns! But the former Black Ranger has more than just training for Carlos. Cobbled together from broken bits and hope, Adam’s original Power Morpher has been rebuilt! But with his powers in flux, and the risk of using them great, can the Mighty Morphin Black Ranger rise again?

Meanwhile Andros has another run in with Darkonda & 1 of his 9 lives, and Astronema tries desperately to discover her past. Her brother is still alive out there somewhere, Andros sister is too. And a pair of lockets will link them all together….

In a surprisingly out of the blue reveal the official Tamashii Features twitter, and subsequently the Drive section of Tamashii.JP have just revealed a pair of S.H.Figuarts releases from Kamen Rider Drive! Pricing info, release dates, full official images, the works!

S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Mach is set to be a retail release in June 2015. Mach will include a compliment of additional hands, his Zenrin Shooter sidearm, the Magarl Advent Signal, and the Funky Spike Tire & Shift Car set for use with Drive! Kamen Rider Mach will retail for 4320 yen. 

S.H.Figuarts Rider Macher will likewise be released in June. It will not only include 2 more Signal Advents for Mach (Tomare & Kaksarn) but also the effect part for the Funky Spike Tire! Ride Macher will retail for 5184 yen.

An interesting new rumor has hit the web!

Filming for Ressha Sentai ToQGer was completed earlier this month- but some fans in Japan have spotted new scenes being shot with the ToQGer crew!

This may mean a new direct-to-video project featuring the ToQGers will be released some time after the series ends. But keep in mind any details relating to this new project are unconfirmed by official sources at the time of writing.

Though most of the initial waves of Power Rangers Dino Charge product have made their way to store shelves here in the US, London Toy Fair has managed to reveal one pretty cool surprise. On display for the first time ever is the first figure from Bandai’s revitalized Mix N Morph toyline!

Tucked between various other wave 1 products we have our first actual images of the Mix N Morph White Claw Rangerzord! Unlike the Mix N Morph line of 5 years ago this line aims for figures in more of a 5″ scale along the lines of Hasbro’s Hero Mashers line. THis figure is clearly inspired by the Samurai Clawzord but with an entirely new coloration. What more can we expect from this line

When you have a merchandise behemoth like Kamen Rider Gaim you do everything you can to keep releasing product. Bandai Japan has that figured out with the upcoming Blu Ray DVD release of Gaim Gaiden: Kamen Rider Zangetsu & Kamen Rider Baron which features the two popular Riders in a short spin-off story from the original story line from Kamen Rider Gaim. As we reported earlier regarding the upcoming release of the DX Taboo Lock Seed, this new DX Prototype Suika Lock Seed will release as a Premium Bandai exclusive in May of 2015 with pre-orders opening January 30th, 2015.

The plot of this story has Kamen Rider Zangetsu using a prototype version of the Suika Lock Seed in a battle against an all new foe. The DX Suika Lock Seed also comes with a new face plate for your Sengoku Driver featuring the red-hued Kamen Rider Zangetsu which will be seen in Gaim Gaiden as he uses his prototype Suika Arms!

Break, Up!

This dark anti-hero and former Kamen Rider from Kamen Rider Drive finally joins the Tire Koukan toy line! Today we’re looking at TK-06 Mashin Chaser!

So far the only villain in the Tire Koukan line, Mashin Chaser takes the gimmick and twists it just a little bit. As in the show Chaser’s Tire Koukan attachment point is on his back, meaning jsut about any tire you want to attach to him won’t interfere with how this figure functions. Mashin Chaser comes with his trusty Break Gunner but also includes his very own version of the gimmick in the form of the E-Circular multi-weapon! It even includes attachments to form his 3 signature Viral Core upgrades: Tail Whipper, Wing Sniper, & Fang Spidey!

If those features aren’t enough to convince then perhaps a video review by my friend and frequent contributor Baltmatrix will! As always we’ve tried to team-up and tackle this figure on both review fronts.

A new trailer for the upcoming V-cinema Kamen Rider Gaim Gaiden has just streamed! Giving us our first good look at this film we see Zangetsu using the Proto-Suika Lock Seed for the first time engaged in combat with Kamen Rider Idun, and we’re treated to Baron using the forbidden Taboo Lock Seed to take on Kamen Rider Tyrant!

This video not only provides a look at this exciting new film, but we’re also given a chance to see how the DX Taboo Lock Seed functions. And who better to show these features off than Kamen Rider Baron himself?! When used with a Sengoku Driver the phrase “Ringo Arms! Desire, Forbidden, Fruits!” plays. The Taboo Lock Seed will be included in a 2-pack with the Kamen Rider Idun rider indicator faceplate.

Some new information about the upcoming 39th Super Sentai Series, Shuriken Sentai Ninninger, was released at the ToQger VS Kyoryuger Movie press conference this week. We now have short character bios for the entire Ninninger team!

Takaharu/Akaninger:
A typical Red Ranger like today’s generation who dashes forward into action without thinking of a plan or strategy. He is a very optimistic person and takes care of everybody even if it turns out bad. He is the big brother of Fuka.

Yakumo/”Cloud”/AoNinger:
He has already accepted his destiny to become one of the Ninningers before coming home to Japan (after studying Western magic in England). He is the coolest and polite person in the team even thought he has only one facial expression.

Nagi/KiNinger:
A simple but fun-loving person who doesn’t even bother about his future. He quietly observes things to improve himself and being a ninja seems to fit him perfectly.

Fuka/ShrioNinger:
The youngest sister of Takaharu whom he cherishes and protects a lot. Lighthearted but has a strong will. She tends to get angry when she is depressed.

Kasumi/MomoNinger:
A smart girl who loves science and all things mechanical. She has a sharp tongue and keeps her girly side at bay without showing her emotions.
