A few videos of the Mashin Sentai Kiramager press conference have been uploaded online, offering fans their first proper look at the 44th Super Sentai series!

First up is a recreation of the teams’ henshin sequence and first fight against their new enemy- the soldiers of the Yodon Army.

Next, we get to hear the music for this new series!

*Kiramagers’ intro song, Mashin Sentai Kiramager is performed by tokusatsu veteran Yohei Onishi (who previously provided music for Shuriken Sentai Ninninger & Dobustsu Sentai Zyuohger.
*The Kiramager ending song, Kiraful! Miracle! Kiramager is performed by Takashi Deguchi.

Tonight was the annual Toei press conference fully revealing the 44th Super Sentai series, Mashin Sentai Kiramager! We have now met the cast behind this new Super Sentai season.

The Kiramager cast consists of:

*KirameRed/Juru played by Ryo Komiya. Red is a high-school student with artistic talents who meets the other Kiramagers when trying to draw their battles.
*KirameBlue/Shiguru played by Atomu Mizuishi. Blue is a stunt actor who frequently has to wear different costumes.
*KirameYellow/Tametomo played by Rui Kihara. Yellow is a professional E-Sports player.
*KirameGreen/Sena played by Yume Shinjo. Green is an athlete specializing in track & field.
*KiramePink/Sayo played by Mio Kudo. Pink is a doctor who also specializes in Aikido.

With their powers, each Kiramager can summon a Mashin– a sentient machine to assist in battle against oversized enemies.

The voices of the Mashin will be:

*Mashin Fire – Kenichi Suzumura
*Mashin Shovellow – Mitsuo Iwata
*Mashin Mach – Kenji Akabane
*Mashin Jetter – Genki Okawa
*Mashin Helicop – Yuki Nagaku

Japanese comedian Daimaou Kosaka (also known by the stage name Pikotaro will serve as the teams’ mentor, Professor Muryou.

Actress Inori Minase will play the Princess Mabusena of the Planet Crystalia– the source of the Kiramage Stones that give the Kiramagers their powers.

Tokusatsu alumni Tomokazu Sugita will play the series’ narrator, and is also the voice of their henshin device- the KirameChanger.

Sentai fans, rejoice!

The Mashin Sentai Kiramager press conference is finally here, and with that press conference comes our first look at this year’s Mecha: Kiramaizin finally revealed in all of his glory.

Further info on this forthcoming series is pending as the press conference is still ongoing at least at the time of this writing. But stay tuned, and well be sure to provide you with info as soon as proper translations become available.

At long last we have our first images of the missing Mighty Morphin Yellow Ranger figure from the fan-favorite action figure series, Power Rangers Lightning Collection!

The Mighty Morphin Yellow Ranger comes with her signature Blade Blaster and Power Dagger weapons, along with an unmorphed head and effect parts.

Lightning Collection MMPR Yellow will be part of the fourth wave of Lightning Collection figures, tentatively scheduled for release in Spring 2020.

The 8th annual Toku Toy Box Giveaway has come to an end! SPD EMERGENCY!

Happy New Year, TokuNation!


Rounding out our coverage for the currently known line-up of figures for wave 4 of the popular Lightning Collection line, we have our first in-package photograph of the fourthcoming Lightning Collection SPD Red Ranger action figure from the fan-favorite season: Power Rangers SPD.

Thankfully, we can see some alterations were made to the figure to make it look more accurate to what was presented in the show most notably to the hands, and the Morpher.

We can expect this new wave of figures to hit sometime in 2020. We’ll notify you once a pre-order is made available so be sure to check back with us for any new updates. In the meantime, be sure to drop us a line in the disscussion thread and let us know your thoughts on this exciting new figure.

“Let’s try my gorilla strength!”

Ravi Shaw was meant to be a Power Ranger. Selected & trained by Grid Battleforce, Ravi earned his place & his power with his teammates. But before they could become Rangers, Blaze & Roxy became something else. Loyal Avatars of Evox! Ravi’s former comrades would have done the same to him too if not for the intervention of Devon Daniels & Zoey Reeves. Joining his new allies, Ravi’s body is infused with Morph-X energy as well as gorilla DNA, turning him into the mighty Beast Morphers Blue Ranger!

Joining the likes of the Beast Morphers Red & Gold Rangers, the Blue Ranger is the third member of his team to make it to the Lightning Collection. With the evil ranger Blaze coming up in Wave 4 of the line, this group of characters continues to expand as well. As is, the Blue Ranger is another welcome member of the team! Packing a (literal!) punch, the Blue Ranger includes two effect parts as well as the Beast-X Saber and even a civilian head featuring the likeness of Ravi’s actor, Jazz Baduwalia!

Toei has confirmed the crew that will be responsible for the 44th Super Sentai series, Majin Sentai Kiramager!

The series’ head writer is tokusatsu veteran Naruhisa Arakawa– whose resume includes Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger, Tokusou Sentai Dekaranger & most recently Super Sentai Strongest Battle.

The main director for the series is one Kyohei Yamaguchi who has handled several episodes of Kamen Rider in the past. Meanwhile, the series’ action director is long-time Sentai & Rider suit actorHirofumi Fukuzawa.

Finally, Kiramagers’ head composer is a relative newcomer- Junichi Matsumoto who has previously worked only on anime projects.

The Holliday hits just keep on coming!

Earlier today, we were given our first look at the mecha that will be employed by the next Super Senai team: Mashin Sentai Kiramager. Some new details have now emerged giving us some plot details of this forthcoming series, with translations courtesy of Twitter user @Ben77878871

The Kiramager will fight against the Yodon Army who is trying to steal hope and radiance from people, with jewelry and vehicles serving as the show’s main motifs.

Mashin Sentai Kiramager will be airing March 8th 2020 though the team will be making their grand debut in a prologue titled Episode 0 that will be airing February 8th 2020 via the Ryusoulger VS LupinRanger VS PatRanger  crossover movie.

We’ll, of course, be providing you with more details about this show once it becomes available so be sure to check back with us in the near future.

UPDATE:

Thanks to an update from @Ben77878871,  we now know Hideaki Tsukada, the man behind GaoRanger and various Kamen Rider series will return as chief producer for this series.

Happy Holidays, TokuNation!

Earlier in the week, we were delighted to our first full look at the 44th Super Sentai: Mashin Sentai Kiramager and since then, some new exciting promotional material’s come up giving us our first look at the core Mecha of the team;

Blue will pilot a jet, Pink pilots a helicopter, Yellow’s a crane excavator, green’s is a sports car, while the Red Ranger drives a truck-like vehicle of some sort.

We were initially led to believe that Red’s mecha will be the sports car, but it seems like that initial scan that was posted was false though the popular theory right now is that the team will have an evolution of the color/power swapping gimmick first employed by 2014’s Ressha Sentai ToQger but we have no way of confirming this at this time. 

There is still much we don’t know about this exciting new entry into the Super Sentai series, so be sure to check back with us and we’ll provide you with more info as it becomes available. In the meantime, make the jump to our disscussion thread and let us know what you think in the comments.
