The train is in the station! Ressha Sentai ToQger is well underway and so is our coverage of the toyline!

Today we’re sharing this gallery of the Norikae (Transfer) Change ToQ 1 figure! At first glance a lot of people may have dismissed this as “just another gimmick line”. And while it doesn’t contain the juiciness of the Kamen Rider Gaim Arms Change line, Norikae Change is certainly a step above standard fair for Sentai. Unlike Figures of previous years these are actually about the same scale as the accompanying rider (Gaim) line. And are roughly equivalent to S.H. Figuarts in terms of size and posability.

We love us any and all Kamen Rider Gaim merchandise here at TokuNation.com. One of our favorite lines to collect has also been one of the hardest to grab at retail – the Arms Change series of figures and accessories from Bandai Japan. Our friend and site contributor baltmatrix FINALLY got his hands on a figure set he had been looking forward to for some time now – the Arms Change 09 Kurokage with Tulip Hopper set – and was kind enough to do a video review of the figure. What’s the worst part about this figure? Is the extra dough for the Tulip Hopper worth it? All right Power Rangers fans – the guest list continues to grow for the upcoming official Power Rangers convention known as Power Morphicon! Their last update revealed that the entire core cast of Power Rangers SPD would be in attendance, as well as the original Mighty Morphin Red Power Ranger himself – Austin St. John. Not to be outdone, we’re getting some more legendary Rangers to the line-up! Power Morphicon announced on Monday the following new guests to their line-up of stars:

  • Danny Slavin (Lost Galaxy Red Ranger)
  • Reggie Rolle (Lost Galaxy Green Ranger)
  • Amy Rolle (Lost Galaxy villain Trakeena)
  • Jeff Deckman (writer for the first season of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers)
  • Soni Aralynn (the very beautiful and very gifted Power Rangers cosplayer)
  • Eddie Frierson (voice actor for many older seasons of Power Rangers, as well as VR Troopers, Digimon, Robotech, and more)

A lot of exciting news for fans of the Ultraman series. It has now been officially announced that the next Ultraman series will be Ultraman Ginga S, a sequel to Ultraman Ginga, and will feature the new hero Ultraman Victory. The new hero will be played by Uji Kiyotaka, best known as the actor who played the role of the Unicorn Zodiarts in Kamen Rider Fourze.

For fans of Power Rangers, beloved director and executive producer Koichi Sakamoto will be taking the helm as the main director for the series. His last job was none other than director for Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger, which is being adapted as Power Rangers Dino Charge in 2015 on Nickelodeon.

Ultraman Ginga S premieres on July 15th, 2014 and will consist of total of 16 episodes broken down in to two halves of eight episodes each. What are your thoughts on that crazy helmet design? Or the suit in general? Are you looking forward to the series? Discuss away on the forums!

The original trio of the Talkin Toku Podcast are back together for the first time in a month! The last time the group was together was before events like NJCC and LexCon, and now that they’re together, they spend some time remembering the conventions. Amazon.com is now officially taking pre-orders for Power Rangers In Space: Volume 1!

The first half of the space-faring Ranger saga will be released on August 5, 2014 and cost a mere 19.95 USD!

Additional features for this DVD set are not yet confirmed.

It’s been a long and arduous fight from start to finish, but Saban Brands and Bandai of America’s Morphin Madness has come to an end! Despite a few hurdles along the way, the final 5 rangers as voted on by the fans have been revealed. The 5 winning rangers, who will be made into a limited edition Ranger Key Set for 5 lucky individuals to receive are:

  • Power Rangers Turbo Phantom Ranger
  • Mighty Morphin Power Rangers White Ranger
  • Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Red Ranger
  • Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue Titanium Ranger
  • Power Rangers Time Force Pink Ranger

Congratulations to these 5 Legendary Rangers and the actors who played each of them for making it to the final round! Bandai has yet to announce the 5 winning fans who will receive the limited Morphin Madness Ranger Key Set along with the 24K Gold Plated Legendary Morpher, but keep checking their website for updates!

The latest round of ToQGer toy scans is now online!

For starters we now have the first look at Toq6’s main Resshas, a pair of orange vehicles known as the Build Resshas. Their (unrevealed) combined form is known as “Build DaiOh!”

We also get to see the movie-exclusive remold of ToQOh, called “Safari GaOh!”

In addition we see four new Legacy Resshas from previous Super Sentai teams: Gokaiger, Goseiger, Shinkenger and Go-Onger Resshas!

Last but certainly not least we get a quick look at a new weapon for the ToQGers- the “DaiKaiten Cannon,” which fires multiple Resshas by rotating new tracks into attack form. The Daikaiten Cannon will be sold with a special golden repaint of the Red Ressha.

Definitely a lot of good things coming down the tracks from ToQGer!

The month of May can’t come soon enough! And for those of you who enjoy a little monster in your toy collecting, you’re well aware that the Godzilla 2014 toy line is available at retail. It’s the first time in quite awhile that the big lizard has been available at mass retail for purchase, as many of us simply import the S.H. MonsterArts toy line from Tamashii Nations. The good people at RangerCrew have been closely following the recent casting details for 2015’s “Power Rangers Dino Charge.”

A casting sheet released today lists the Executive Producer of this new series as “Judd Lynn,” a veteran Power Rangers writer responsible for a number of fan-favorite seasons (Lynn was primary story editor for Power Rangers from the second half of Turbo through Time Force & returned again for the latter half of RPM). This may be the first indication that Dino Charge will be working with a different production crew & potentially an exiting new direction for Power Rangers!

In addition the available casting page reveals biographical details for EIGHT Dino Charge Rangers (a high amount for Power Rangers fans, surprisingly low for fans of Dino Charge’s source material, Kyoryuger). Could these details provide an accurate description of the 2015 Heroes? Only time will tell!
