New Ranger Key Packs Found at Toys R Us!

Posted on January 15, 2015 at 12:28 pm by Den-O under Power Rangers

After months of speculation on whether these would even be released, cryptic answers from Bandai of America, and more than one of these packs showing up on sites like TaoBao, most of the remaining Power Rangers Super Megaforce Ranger Key packs have FINALLY hit retail! And it looks like the new keys packs are indeed Toys R Us exclusives!

Twitter user @clong83 found these 8 new Ranger Key Packs at the Willow Grove, PA Toys R Us location! They do feature the TRU exclusive sticker so that narrows your search area to find these as most retailers begin to switch over to Dino Charge product fro the winter/spring.

Curiously the Operation Overdrive & Wild Force Pack B’s have yet to be seen at retail with this assortment. Could they possibly drop at a later date? Have they been pulled from this assortment all together? For now we just don’t know. The packs released thus far though are:

Alien Pack B
Yellow Alien Ranger
White Alien Ranger
Ninjor

Lost Galaxy Pack B
Lost Galaxy Green Ranger (translucent)
Lost Galaxy Yellow Ranger
Magna Defender

Mystic Force Pack B
Wolf Warrior
Mystic Force White Ranger
Solaris Knight

Ninja Storm Pack B

Let’s Watch Wednesdays Power Rangers In Space 22-24

Posted on January 14, 2015 at 11:46 pm by Den-O under Power Rangers, TokuNation, TokuNation Spotlights

Let’s Watch Wednesdays returns with Power Rangers In Space and a Silver Secret….

Unbeknownst to the other rangers, Zhanes powers are fading fast. Being frozen while morphed for so long has put a permanent drain on the Silver Ranger powers. One more morph could be the end for him, but a daring stunt may be able to restore his powers. Or destroy Zhane for good!

But even if he does survive that, he may be in for an even more dangerous prospect, a date with Astronema! Can a real bond form between these bitter enemies? And if that wasn’t enough, Zhane has a heavy choice to make. Will he remain with the rangers, or help the remaining rebels of KO-35 against Dark Specter?

Power Rangers Legacy Megazord Reissue for May 2015!

Posted on January 8, 2015 at 4:47 pm by Den-O under Power Rangers

According to a brand new Entertainment Earth listing, the Legacy Megazord will indeed be receiving a reissue in May 2015! Now with a low low retail price of $59.99!

This is great news for collectors who’ve been having to pay upwards of $200 or more for a Legacy Megazord on the aftermarket to complete their Legacy Ultrazords recently. With the recent news that Toys R Us has cancelled any further orders of older Legacy product, what exactly could this new pre-order mean? Will this reissue be exclusive to Entertainment Earth? We’ll update you as more information becomes available.

Toei’s Spider-Man & Leopardon Join Spider-Verse!

Posted on January 7, 2015 at 11:59 pm by Den-O under General Tokusatsu News

If you haven’t been following Marvel’s current run of Amazing Spider-Man then now may be the time. Though we wouldn’t typically cover this kind of thing today’s latest issue, Amazing Spider-Man #12 featured the return of 2 very familiar faces for the tokusatsu community. Making his first official appearance since his 1979 TV Series is Toei’s Spider-Man! And along for the ride is his faithful transforming mecha Marveler/Leopardon!

The currently ongoing Spider-verse storyline has seen the entire Marvel Multiverse assaulted by the Morlun family of killers. They’ve been hopping between dimensions plotting to and in some cases succeeding in murdering various Spider-heroes. Now a ragtag team of the remaining spiders with the Earth-616 Peter Parker at the lead are trying desperately to win the war. Just in time to lend a helping hand (and maybe a gigantic sword?!) Spider-man & Leopardon enter the fray! Though it’s only briefly seen Leopardon is soundly defeated with Spider-Man AKA Takuya Yamashiro (or Supaidaman) escaping with his brothers and sisters from other worlds.

A fun and interesting nod to the the beloved 1978-1979 series. Most likely a one-off instance, but personally I’d love to see more of this duo in official Marvel comics of this nature.

Let’s Watch Wednesdays Power Rangers In Space 19-21

Posted on January 7, 2015 at 10:06 pm by Den-O under Power Rangers, TokuNation, TokuNation Spotlights

Let’s Watch Wednesdays is back! After 2 weeks of back to back holidays interrupting our programming schedule, Power Rangers In Space returns! And a new hero rises!

Andros has been hiding something from the rangers. A secret that will forever reshape the team! Hidden away deep within the Megaship, lays the dormant cryogenically frozen body of the Silver Ranger! The once heroic Zhane sacrificed himself to save Andros on their homeworld KO-35 when Dark Specter’s forces invaded. Frozen for years recovering from his injuries, the Silver Ranger must awaken! On a foreign planet, in a wrecked Megaship, an invasion by an army of aliens, and 5 rangers in danger may be just the wake up call this sleeping hero needs! Unfortunately he’s in for a rude awakening indeed….
