Bruno from MMPRToys recently visited the headquarters for Bandai America and sat down with the powers that be to discuss all things Power Rangers. While there, he was given an exclusive first look at the upcoming Power Rangers Dino Charge Poisandra 5″ figure, which was made possibly due to overwhelming fan-demand. Here are the bullet points you need to know of the visit:

  • Poisandra figure close to being done
  • Silver belts on Legacy MMPR Wave 02 figures an accident, NO RE-RELEASE OR FIX PLANNED
  • Accessories for Legacy figures made just working out details on how to get them released
  • Legacy Ninja coins are coming in a gift-set, no need to re-purchase morphers

“T-Rex Zord, it’s time for battle!”

Toku Toy Box continues today with TokuNation.com’s first official look at product from the 2017 Power Rangers Movie! With Movie toys having just hit stores in recent weeks we finally ran across the Movie T-Rex Battle Zord out in the wild and figure, what better time to do a full gallery & review!

The T-Rex Battle Zord is a behemoth toy. As a part of the colossal Movie Megaord, it’s no surprise that this figure makes up the bulk of it’s mass. Contributing the chest/upper torso, arms, cannon, tail whip/sword, and part of the wings, the T-Rex has a lot to offer. But the majority of it’s play value right now comes from it’s dino mode. Without the other 4 zords on the market, the T-Rex is more fun as a T-Rex. With pressure firing missile launchers, an electronic cannon with phrases & sounds effect, and a really neat mini pilot feature, the T-Rex Battle Zord is a great entry point to this line for fans.

Thanks to sieunhanvietnam, a poster at RangerBoard, we have some new items listed under the Legacy Power Rangers line. The online store The Falcon’s Hangar has put up some already-known and yet-to-be-revealed new Legacy Power Rangers items listed online. Check out the list below.

  • 12″ Legacy MMPR Red Ranger with spandex
  • 6.5″ Legacy Dino Thunder Red, Blue Rangers (part of the Zeo wave 1 of Legacy figures due in mid-late 2017)
  • Legacy Power Sword
  • Legacy Black and Gold Titanus
  • Legacy MMPR gold coin set
  • Legacy MMPR silver coin set (called “Movie Edition”)

There are no official product images for these items so there’s not much to show. It has been rumored heavily that the Power Rangers Dino Thunder figures would be part of the Power Rangers Zeo wave of Legacy 6.5″ figures and this is as close to a confirmation as we will get before Toy Fair 2017. SPD Emergency!

The good people at Shout! Factory have announced the next Complete Series DVD release for Power Rangers!

Next up is Power Rangers SPD– featuring the adventures of the Space Patrol Delta facing off against the sinister Troobian Empire.

SPD: The Complete Series will be released on DVD on March 14, 2017! The price is a very modest $19.97 USD for all 38 episodes!

Released exclusively through Den of Geek, the first trailer for Power Rangers Ninja Steel is live!

This trailer is our first official look at the team in action and actually gives us a start time for the series, January 2017. Read the full synopsis below:

“With the franchise’s 24th season, Saban Brands’ Power Rangers Ninja Steel starts deep in space, where Galvanax is the reigning champion of the most popular intergalactic game show in the universe in which monsters battle to prove who is the mightiest warrior. Galvanax is determined to become invincible by controlling the mythical Ninja Nexus Prism, which contains six supernatural Ninja Power Stars. The only thing standing in his way is a new team of heroic teenage Power Rangers who possess it. The evil Galvanax sends his warrior contestants down to Earth to steal the Ninja Power Stars, where each epic battle against the Power Rangers is broadcast throughout the universe. Together, the Rangers must master their arsenal of Ninja Power Stars, Zords and Megazords, each made of legendary Ninja Steel, in order to stop this evil threat and save Earth from destruction.”

A quick heads up for those of you who seek out and collect the harder to find items. A set of the Ranger Keys from the Morphin Madness contest of 2014 is available on ebay. This set of five Ranger Keys (Mighty Morphin Red Ranger, Mighty Morphin White Ranger, Turbo Phantom Ranger, Lightspeed Rescue Titanium Ranger, Time Force Pink Ranger) was voted in an online poll/contest by the fans and the winning set was given to 5 lucky winners – meaning this is 1 of 5 in existence.

The final episode of Power Rangers Dino Supercharge, the Christmas special “Here Comes Heximus”, airs this weekend on Nickelodeon. Many fans speculated exactly where in the Dino Supercharge timeline this would fall seeing as the ending of the main story kind of left things … well, prehistoric. Best rest assured, we see in the following preview clip that this Christmas episode falls AFTER the finale of Dino Supercharge, which ends up leaving a lot more questions on the table as the preview continues.

But hey – check out the preview below and we’ll wait and see what developments come out of everything this weekend with the final episode of Power Rangers Dino Supercharge. NOTE: Story image is from Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger, and will not be in the actual episode.

In case you didn’t have enough items to collect for Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, Funko announced yesterday some new collectible items that can line your shelves in all their retro-glory! Announced officially were Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Pint Size Heroes – featuring all 7 Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, Goldar, Rita Repulsa, a Putty, and Alpha 5. These items are blind-bagged. We also got to see some new Mighty Morphin Power Rangers pens – featuring the Red, Black, Blue, and Yellow Rangers.

Also officially shown are the action-poses FunkoPOP! figures of the Mighty Morphin White, Red, and Pink Rangers – with Pink and Red also being metallic with their Ninja Coin emblems. Finally, we have the Funko Dorbz featuring the original five Mighty Morphin Power Rangers and Rita Repulsa.

More information will be coming soon on these items – including some exclusive variants – so stay tuned.
