S.H. Figuarts Shinkocchou Seihou Kamen Rider Kuuga Mighty Form (Decade Version) Gallery

Posted on January 16, 2020 at 4:58 pm by Den-O under Kamen Rider, TokuNation, TokuNation Site Updates, TokuNation Spotlights

“Henshin!”

When the Destroyer of Worlds, Kamen Rider Decade, embarked on a journey through the worlds of the Heisei Riders he came upon something familiar. A world, besieged by the ancient Gurongi, and protected by a hero bearing the Linto Tribe’s Arcle. But beneath this familiar form, was someone different. Often unsure of his abilities, but ready to protect the smiles of the people of his world, Yusukue Onodera stood against darkness as Kamen Rider Kuuga! Choosing to join Tsukasa on his journey through dimensions, protecting everyone’s smiles on the way, Yusuke grew into the confident hero he was also meant to be.

From Tamashii Nations we have what some would say is a long overdue release in the form of Kamen Rider Kuuga Mighty Form (Decade Version)! At first glance this figure would seem identical to the original Shinkocchou Seihou Kuuga, but in fact the suit used in Decade (which is reflected in this figure) had a subtle metallic red sheen to it. Outside of this though, what we have here is an identically constructed and accessorized figure to the original Kuuga release. Which is not a bad thing! Shinkocchou Seihou Kuuga was a brilliant figure when it was released, and this clever reissue of the mold will not only work for fans seeking to complete a Decade collection, but it also gives collectors who missed it the first time around another chance to handle this excellent figure.

We’ve assembled a huge 70+ image gallery of S.H. Figuarts Shinkocchou Seihou Kamen Rider Kuuga Mighty Form Decade Ver. You can check out the entire gallery and our extensive review thread by clicking “Discuss on the TokuNation Forums” at the bottom of this post. Tomorrow, we journey to the land of light with our first Ultraman figure review in some time with S.H. Figuarts Ultraman Ginga!

Toku Toy Box: S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Build Rabbit Rabbit Form Gallery

Posted on December 22, 2019 at 3:21 pm by Den-O under Contests and Giveaways, Kamen Rider, TokuNation, TokuNation Site Updates, TokuNation Spotlights

“I won’t lose myself anymore.
This power is all mine now!”

The Hazard Trigger. With it, Sento Kiryu can gain the upper hand in any fight, becoming an unstoppable berserker in the process. To contain the uncontrollable power, he develops a new bottle to channel his strength and consciousness. Surpassing the genius of Takumi Katsuragi, the Full Full Rabbit Tank Bottle creates Kamen Rider Build Rabbit Rabbit Form! Representing his home Seito in the 3-round battle, Build will test his new power against the dangerous Kamen Rider Rogue.

Rabbit Rabbit Form joins an ever expanding line up of figures from the world of Build. An extensive repaint/retool of the base rabbit/tank mold and it’s variations, rabbit rabbit evokes the true power of the Rider System. With the added bulk of it’s new armor, it’s an intimidating yet heroic design, and it’s armed with a brand new weapon in the form of the Full Bottle Buster. Getting ever closer to Build’s later seasons forms, this one will please many fans until the hopefully eventual release of Build Genius Form.

We’ve assembled a full 80 image gallery of  Build Rabbit Rabbit Form, which you can see in our full gallery thread after the jump. Toku Toy Box: S.H. Figuarts Machine Kivaa Options Parts Set Gallery

Posted on December 15, 2019 at 3:22 pm by Den-O under Contests and Giveaways, Kamen Rider, TokuNation, TokuNation Site Updates, TokuNation Spotlights

“Wake up!”

Struggling with the duality of his human & Fangire parentage, Wataru Kurenai protected humanity from his own monstrous kind. As Kamen Rider Kiva, Wataru fought for justice, but he also needed a ride. Built by the mysterious Motobat the 16th, and entrusted to Kiva by Kivat Bat III, the Machine Kivaa is a mighty machine worthy of the Fangire king!

Tamashii Nations has done Kamen Rider Kiva fans an incredible solid with this release. The Machine Kivaa Option Parts Set gives fans everything they could possibly want to compliment their Kiva collections. Not only do we get the the Machine Kivaa, a stylish modification of the base Honda Shadow 750 model, but also Kiva’s other signature props. The regal throne we see Kiva sat upon often, particularly in the series opening, as well as the Bloody Rose. The magnificent violin created and played by Wataru’s father, Otoya. This set really is a love letter to a show that’s often derided, but is absolutely one of the most stylish series out there.

RUMOR: First Mashin Sentai Kirameiger Toy Listings!

Posted on December 9, 2019 at 10:05 am by Paladin under Super Sentai

A new list has recently been posted online apparently revealing the first wave of merchandise for the 44th Super Sentai series- Mashin Sentai Kirameiger!

While no images are yet available for any of the merchandise in question, the list does match rumors currently circulating for the new series.

Here is what we can gather about Kirameiger from the toy listings:

*The series will have 5 core Rangers- Red, Blue, Yellow, Green, & Pink.

*The main Mecha for the series will be Vehicles! This first quarter lineup consists of Mashin Roller, Mashin Lifton, Mashin Carry, Mashin Base & Mashin Armed! A secondary Mecha named King Express is also teased.

Based on the available information, this could very well be a “back to basics” sort of Sentai after several years of experimentation.

The full details of Mashin Sentai Kirameiger should be released very soon, so stay tuned to TokuNation as we keep you up to date on this new chapter in Super Sentai history!

Toku Toy Box: S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Build Trial Form Rabbit Dragon Gallery

Posted on December 8, 2019 at 10:25 am by Den-O under Contests and Giveaways, Conventions, Kamen Rider, Other Conventions, TokuNation, TokuNation Site Updates, TokuNation Spotlights

This is the end!

Two Earths, a single future. To save his world Sento has gambled everything on the power of Pandora’s Box. Opening a bridge between universes, and using Evolt’s energy as the catalyst, Sento seeks to fuse the two worlds to save them both. To create a New World, without Evolt. And with Ryuga’s help, one last experiment to save humanity begins. Gold & Silver, Rabbit & Dragon, Sento AND Ryuga. Build’s final transformation, his Trial Form is born! With the unstable power of two Kamen Riders, can Sento save the New World he wishes to build?

Trial Form is an absolutely stunning repaint & remold of the solid Rabbit/Tank release of Build. Released as a Tamashii Nations 2019 exclusive (alongside Seihou Diend), this gorgeous figure is a must have addition to any Build collection. And that’s not simply because it represents the ultimate power of Sento & Ryuga’s friendship, but because it also includes the Pandora Box! This accessory has been demanded by Build collectors since the show was still airing, and now that it’s finally here maybe you can stage your own 3-sided war for it’s power in your collection.

We’ve got a full 70+ image gallery after the jump, as well as our review of the S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Build Trial Form. Just click “Discuss on the TokuNation Forums” at the bottom of this post to be taken to the thread. Gaoranger Dub “Power Rangers Jungle Force” returns to South Korea

Posted on December 5, 2019 at 9:19 am by Den-O under Power Rangers, Super Sentai

UPDATE 8:45 PM EST – Toys are not being reissued as a part of the show coming back to South Korea.

In a pretty odd turn of events, South Korea is set to see it’s third out with Hyakujuu Sentai Gaoranger in 2020! This news comes straight from Yong San Power Rangers event, which you can see a video of HERE from youtube channel [림호]Tokusatsu. Gaoranger, like many sentai, has a bit of an odd history in South Korea. Super Sentai had been imported to the country since 1989 with Flashman. However in 1994, the first season of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers was imported and dubbed in Korean as “Invincible Power Rangers”.

The trend of Power Rangers being imported and dubbed continued until 2003 when Power Rangers Wild Force was brought in as “Power Force Rangers”. After this point Super Sentai was directly imported and dubbed again. Jump to 2010 and Hyakujuu Sentai Gaoranger was at last imported in it’s original form and dubbed over as “Power Rangers Jungle Force”, in lieu of airing Shinkenger, which at the time was seen as too Japanese for the Korean market. Now, it looks as though South Korea will once again be seeing Gaoranger next year in it’s Jungle Force dub, set to stream on the Korean Power Rangers youtube channel!
