S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Amazon Alpha (2nd Season Version) Gallery

Posted on April 2, 2018 at 11:29 am by Den-O under Kamen Rider, TokuNation, TokuNation Site Updates, TokuNation Spotlights

“Chihiro, I’m here to kill you.”

Jin Takeyama has become a broken man in the years that have transpired between seasons of Amazons. He’s lost the love of his life, he’s hunted for the son he knows to be a monster, and now he’s blind. A broken man, on a mission to kill all Amazons, Jin won’t let anything including the loss of his sight stop him.

S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Amazon Alpha 2nd Season Version recreates Jin’s broken and battered form for the first time for collectors. A straight repaint of the original Amazon Alpha release, the Season 2 Version markedly de-saturates Alpha’s color scheme overall. It also adds a nice dark paint wash to bring out the details and scars on his suit. A subtle application of Amazons Blood splatter is even applied, while the most obvious difference are the new milky white Blind compound eyes. And while this Alpha includes all of the same accessories that came with the original we also get one brand new part, an Amazons Heart.

We’ve attached the full 60 image gallery of Season 2 Alpha to this post. You can also read through our complete review in the attached gallery thread. Just click “Discuss on the TokuNation Forums” at the bottom of this post. We’ll be back with more galleries ranging from Pacific Rim, Kamen Rider Kabuto, and even Choujuu Sentai Liveman, SOON!

Garo Special: Demon Beast of the Midnight Sun Tentatively Confirmed For US Release

Posted on March 31, 2018 at 10:15 am by Kiryu under Garo

UPDATE! Speculation no more – this release was actually revealed a month ago by RightStufAnime.com. Pre-order your copy today and enjoy it in June! Special thanks to @Soundout12 on Twitter for catching us up.

If you’re a Garo fan living in the west, and you’ve been itching for some more content we’ve got some excellent news for you.

It seems that Garo: Demon Beast of the Midnight Sun may have been confirmed for a western release thanks to a tentative pre-order link that popped up on Amazon. While the link may seem a little unusual, we have seen Shout Factory’s Super Sentai DVD releases confirmed via this method and animenewsnetwork has confirmed as such. Garo: Special Demon Beast of the Midnight Sun will be released June 26th 2018 at least according to the Amazon link.

Garo Special: Demon Beast of the Midnight Sun first aired in Japan on December 15th 2006 as a direct to TV movie.  It was set after of the first Garo series, Kouga Saezima sets out to the northern district upon reassignment. While hunting down Horrors, a young priestess named Rin informs Kouga that she has been sent by Priest Amon to save a presumed dead friend in the Makai realm within Kantai, Jabi. Kouga teams up with Rin in a quest to save Jabi as they are hindered by supernatural and Makai forces alike. Meanwhile, somewhere in Japan, the dark Horror Lord Legules was resurrected and plots a means to alter a supernatural event called Midnight Sun within Kantai to plunge the world into darkness with his family.

New DX Zyuohger Mecha: Titan King and Burst King From Korea Revealed!

Posted on March 30, 2018 at 1:03 pm by Kiryu under Power Rangers, Super Sentai

Dobotsu Gattai!

It’s not uncommon for Korea to release new products years after a Sentai show has come to an end in its native country. We’ve seen them release an entirely new line of Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger Toys under the Power Rangers Dino Force Brave  name, along with a ToqOh variant during it’s run.

This time, Korea brings us two new variants: Titan King based on Zyuoh King and Burst King based on the Zyuoh Wild mold as part of their Power Rangers Animal Force toy line.

Titan King and Burst King will both be released at mass retail on the Korean market, overseas collectors will most likely need to turn to Ebay or gmarket if your looking to add these pieces to your Zyuohger collection.
