Let’s Watch Wednesdays Power Rangers In Space 19-21

Posted on January 7, 2015 at 10:06 pm by Den-O under Power Rangers, TokuNation, TokuNation Spotlights

Let’s Watch Wednesdays is back! After 2 weeks of back to back holidays interrupting our programming schedule, Power Rangers In Space returns! And a new hero rises!

Andros has been hiding something from the rangers. A secret that will forever reshape the team! Hidden away deep within the Megaship, lays the dormant cryogenically frozen body of the Silver Ranger! The once heroic Zhane sacrificed himself to save Andros on their homeworld KO-35 when Dark Specter’s forces invaded. Frozen for years recovering from his injuries, the Silver Ranger must awaken! On a foreign planet, in a wrecked Megaship, an invasion by an army of aliens, and 5 rangers in danger may be just the wake up call this sleeping hero needs! Unfortunately he’s in for a rude awakening indeed….

S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider ZO Gallery – FINAL Toku Toy Box Entry!

Posted on January 4, 2015 at 4:17 pm by Den-O under Contests and Giveaways, Kamen Rider, TokuNation

A blast from the past, 1993 to be exact, the titular hero of the film Kamen Rider ZO has arrived in S.H. Figuarts form!

Rounding out the end of 2014 S.H. Figuarts releases is Kamen Rider ZO. From the second film in Toei’s trio of 90’s rider movies, ZO (spoken as Zet-O) is in that murky era that Toei considers Showa, but is actually Heisei. In any case this Showa Rider is one of the more streamlined suits of his era diverging largely from his predecessor Kamen Rider Shin. ZO includes several sets of additional hands as well as an alternate head featuring his Break Toother mouthplate, as well as small Grasshopper with optional wing parts. This grasshopper is one of those used by Dr. Mochizuki to contact ZO telepathically throughout the film.

With 50 images to view after the jump, is there any better way to round out our Toku Toy Box galleries than with S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider ZO? This gallery marks your FINAL chance to enter into our giveaway. Simply post in the discussion thread after the jump to be entered in for a chance to win our Top Gear Rider Legends Prize Pack! Winners of all 4 prize packs will be chosen tomorrow. Official rules as well as prize pack breakdowns can be viewed here.

Talkin Toku Episode 021 Released – The Year 2014 in Review

Posted on January 3, 2015 at 12:00 pm by Chris under Kamen Rider, Power Rangers, Super Sentai, TokuNation, TokuNation Spotlights

We look to the past
As we head towards the future
To reclaim the Digital world

With faith in ourselves
And trust in each other
We live by the lessons we learned

As we work towards one solution
Through a spirit evolution

It’s the end of 2014 and the start of 2015 and Talkin Toku is ringing in the New Year the way they do best – by being late to it! Join Kickback aka Chris, Den-O aka Jordan and Sentai Tamashii aka Tom as they spend 2 horribly long hours reflecting on 2014 and looking ahead to 2015!

Before the reflection begins – it’s time to talk current Toku! Join in the discussion of their continued thoughts as more and more of Shuriken Sentai Ninninger is revealed! And the question everyone has on their minds … has Tom even seen the trailers for the damn show?! We also take a look at the extended Power Rangers Dino Charge (and discover if Tom has watched that trailer too).

Then we reflect on 2014. What was the Best Toku Toy of 2014? And the Worst Toku Toy of 2014? Reflecting on the year of news itself, What was the biggest Toku news of 2014? And the question that no one is going to accurately guess the answer to … our opinion on Which of the 3 Toku shows (Power Rangers Super Megaforce, Kamen Rider Gaim, and Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger) had the best ending? We also take a moment to read YOUR answers to those questions – thanks to everyone who submitted their thoughts/opinions/answers!

And by popular demand … the return of Toku Company’s New Year’s Resolutions for 2015 … what we think Bandai of America, Bluefin Tamashii Nations, Tamashii Nations, Bandai Japan, Saban Brands Entertainment, and Shout! Factory should have for New Year’s Resolutions!

Join us in this end of the year celebration as we celebrate a staggering average of 1.25 episodes a month and promise to do better in 2015!
