Revealed and already available for order via the Tamashii Web Shop is yet another entry into Bandai’s recent Kikaider subline of S.H. Figuarts!
The personal ride of Kikaider 01, the S.H. Figuarts Double Machine is a successor to the original Kikaiders Side Machine. A rather fantastic design, though most definitely one straight out of the 70’s, the Double Machine will fit right in with your growing Kikaider collection. It’ll most certainly fit in with mine! It looks like the only included accessories this go around will be a repeat of the last 2 Kikaider themed vehicles, spare handle bars and a set of optional licensed decals!
S.H. Figuarts Double Machine will be released in September for 7560 yen via the Tamashii Web Shop. Get with your web exclusive middleman to secure a pre-order today!

It’s time for another episode of our official podcast – Talkin Toku! Join your hosts Kickback/Chris, Den-O/Jordan, and Sentai Tamashii/Tom as they embark on the first episode in over a month. Since their last episode, babies have been born, conventions have come and gone, and your favorite shows like Power Rangers Dino Charge, Shuriken Sentai Ninninger, and Kamen Rider Drive have all either premiered, continued, or had some interesting developments happen. And that’s where the hosts come in!
What are their initial thoughts on Shuriken Sentai Ninninger? Was it worth sitting through Ressha Sentai ToQGer to get to? And has Power Rangers Dino Charge lived up to the hype since the premiere? And just what the heck is going on with Kamen Rider Drive? They discuss it all – and in one of our favorite twists, the hosts share which show they have the least amount of problems with and knowing our hosts and the history they have with theses franchises, it’ll surprise you for sure.
There’s also toy talk – their thoughts on the DX Shurikenjin mecha from Shuriken Sentai Ninninger as well as Kickback’s thoughts on the roleplay items that he’s purchased. The hosts also discuss their thoughts on the Toys’R’Us listings for the Legacy Blade Blaster and Legacy VIP Dino Chargers Set, as well as what other Legacy items they’d like to see down the road (besides the obvious ones).
And finally – they go off topic and talk Hot Toys, various online stores, and the hobby they left that is slowly sucking them back in – Transformers. Come take a listen and leave your thoughts in the discussion thread by clicking here!

It’s that time of year once again for the comic & toy convention season to get under way! And getting the ball rolling on both fronts is the upcoming Lexington Comic & Toy Con, from March 13th-15th! What began in 2012 as a con that garnered over 1000 guests has flourished in the years since to it’s height now, attracting upwards of 20,000 guests from the around the midwest & southeast!
What’s even more impressive is how the guest list for this con has grown from featuring just a few of your favorite Power Rangers actors, to being one of the nations premiere selections of ranger actors! This year the convention staff have pulled out all the stops to offer the BIGGEST selection of Power Rangers, & Indeed Super Sentai actors, possible! Not to mention a few other fantastic bonuses for Ultraman fans! Check out the full guest list as it pertains to the tokusatsu fandom below, as maintained by our very own uchihabro77!
Aside from this star studded guest list, LexCon is also an opportunity for fans to make real world connections. As I’ve done in years past I will of course be there repping for TokuNation.com & the Talkin Toku Podcast. But many other groups and personalities in the tokusatsu fandom will also be in attendance like trekkieb47 of Ranger Command Power Hour and RiderJetfire of Dans Toku Rants. If you’re going to be in attendance be sure to post in our Lexington Comic & Toy Con 2015 thread. We’ll see you there!

After recently being teased in a Bandai Tamashii Nations blog entry, full release details for the S.H. Figuarts Hakaider Squad have been revealed! Made up of Red Hakaider, Blue Hakaider and Silver Hakaider, these three act as Gill Hakaider’s henchmen in the opening section of Kikaider 01.
As many expected the figures will be coming as part of a 3-pack, however the set will also be a ToeiHero.net exclusive. Each figure will come with their own unique weapon, along with presumably an array of additional hands.
Costing a total of 16,200 yen, preorders will be open until the 30th April with the set shipping out to collectors in September.

Juukou!
We’re back! Did you miss us? After our New York Toy Fair coverage we thought it was time to give the citizens of TokuNation a treat. Today we’re taking a look at a brand new Tamashii Web Exclusive release familiar to both Western & Japanese tokusatsu fans alike. S.H. Figuarts Blue Beet from Juukou B-Fighter! And 90’s Saban Era fans will undoubtedly recognize this figure as the Blue Stinger Beetleborg from Big Bad Beetleborgs!
Blue Beet is one of the more intricately detailed Figuarts you’ll own for sure. An incredible representation of an elaborate suit, Blue beet really captures the presence of his on screen counterpart. Some articulation issues not withstanding, this figure nails the look. Not to mention a bevy of really well done accessories too. Blue Beet comes with the standard side arm of the B-Fighters the Input Magnum, 3 sets of extra hands, as well as his signature Stinger Blade. Of course it also includes parts necessary to transform it into the Stinger Drill too!
Honestly S.H. Figuarts Blue Beet is a fantastic figure. While I’m not impressed with the articulation given to him it’s certainly one of the better looking figuarts I own. I’m even more excited for the upcoming G-Stag, Reddle, & Black Beet than I was before. If you want to be as well then I suggest checking out our complete 80 image gallery of Blue Beet by clicking “Discuss on the TokuNation forums” at the bottom of this post!
