S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Amazons Last Judgement Set Officially Announced

Posted on January 22, 2019 at 11:04 am by Den-O under Kamen Rider

Seen displayed originally at Tamashii Nations 2018 back in October, we finally have an update on what could possibly be the final S.H. Figuarts release from Kamen Rider Amazons!

The S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Amazon Alpha & Omega Last Judgement Set, has finally been officially announced after several months in limbo. Representing Amazon Alpha & Omega as they appeared in their final and ultimately deadly battle with one another, these figures are both decked out in literal blood splatter. They both took quite a few hits in that last fight after all. Though this set won’t bring anything else new to the table and will likely be reduced from the number of accessories each rider originally came with, it looks like it’ll be a great addition to any Amazons collection.

The Alpha & Omega Last Judgement set will be released in July 2019 for 11, 880 yen as a Tamashii Web Exclusive. If you want to procure an order for this set, it’s best to keep an eye out with your preferred middleman service or seller in the near future.

S.H. Figuarts Ultraman Victory Revealed

Posted on January 22, 2019 at 10:39 am by Den-O under Ultraman

The Tamashii Pickup reveals for the months of June & July have gone up through the Tamashii Nations website. And this month’s reveals bring us only one toku toy, but it’s certainly a good one. Hailing from the series Ultraman Ginga S is Ginga’s partner, S.H. Figuarts Ultraman Victory!

Born from the powerful Victorium Stone, Ultraman Victory has the ability to Ultrans, gaining the powers of certain Spark Dolls in his right arm as a result. The good news is that the Victory Figuart can apparently replicate this ability. Though there’s only two Ultrans shown off, they’re both pretty big winners. We now know that Victory will include the EX Red King Knuckle as well as the Shepherdon Saber! This is of course thanks to scans popping up from this month’s Figure Oh, which of course also confirms a June release for Victory at 6480 yen. Victory is also a retail release.

Could Ultraman Ginga or perhaps even Ginga Strium be on the way to accompany Ultraman Victory? Time will tell, and we’ll let you know if it does!

Toku Toy Box: S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Amazon Neo Alpha Gallery

Posted on December 31, 2018 at 6:02 pm by Den-O under Kamen Rider, TokuNation, TokuNation Site Updates, TokuNation Spotlights

“Cattle don’t have dreams.”

Two years on from Neo’s death, Omega is hunted. Crossing the path of an unusual home for children and a man named Midou, a horrifying new iteration of the Sigma Project has been uncovered. As the hunters become the hunted, the man named Midou proclaims himself Amazon Neo Alpha, the one to surpass Jin Takayama and the original madness of the Amazon Cells.

S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Amazon Neo Alpha is the latest and so far last release from the juggernaut Amazons franchise. A really interesting note to end the line on, Neo Alpha reuses the excellent Neo mold and incorporates new militarized elements to the design. Including a new arm weapon in the form of the Neo Amazon Sweeper, a combination chainsaw & machine gun! Opinions may vary on the Amazons The Last Judgement film, and most will find the Midou/Neo Alpha character to be very hollow, but as far as I’m concerned this figure is another winner from the Armour Zone.

We’ve attached the full 70+ image gallery to this post, but you can also read through our complete review thread by clicking “Discuss on the TokuNation Forums” at the bottom of this post. As you ring in the new year today, we wish you all the best! We’ll see you in 2019 for the announcement of Toku Toy Box winners and the prizes they will receive!

Toku Toy Box: S.H. Figuarts Shin Kuroto Dan Gallery

Posted on December 29, 2018 at 10:19 am by Den-O under Kamen Rider, TokuNation, TokuNation Site Updates, TokuNation Spotlights

“Those who betrayed me are far beyond forgiveness!”

The one and only Game Master returns! Deleted previously by Parad, Kuroto Dan’s data was scattered into the Proto Mighty Action X Gashat and seemingly lost. But thanks to Poppy, Kuroto’s data was recovered and the game master was reborn, as a Bugster! Now imbued with all the abilities of a Bugster, and begrudgingly joining up with the team at CR, Kuroto has returned to stop Parad, Masamune, and anyone else who gets in the way of his path to godhood!

S.H. Figuarts Shin Kuroto Dan represents this reprehensible rider after his rebirth as a Bugster in episode 31 of Ex-Aid. Taking on the moniker Shin (new), Kuroto begins to indulge in some of his wilder tendencies. This figure, while imperfect, certainly does a fair job of recreating the insanity of his character at this point as well. Civilian figuarts still aren’t incredibly common, so the expectations can be big surrounding releases such as this. Couple that with the inclusion of the Continue Pipe the character is infamous for, and collectors had high hopes over this release. So how did it turn out in the end?

We’ve attached the full 50+ image gallery to this post, but you can read our in depth review of Shin Kuroto Dan after the jump by clicking “Discuss on the TokuNation Forums”. We’ll be back soon with a brand new gallery from Kamen Rider Amazons: The Last Judgement! And don’t forget that this gallery enters you in for a chance to win one of a number of possible prizes in our annual Toku Toy Box giveaway! Bandai’s S.H. Figuarts Blog teases, Decade?

Posted on December 23, 2018 at 7:15 am by Den-O under Kamen Rider

The most recent post on Bandai’s S.H. Figuarts blog cycles through the official images of the upcoming Ride Striker release for Kamen Rider Zi-O. The post details the accessories it comes with as well as it’s compatibility with both Zi-O and Geiz. However, at the end of the post is an odd teaser.

“次回、ジオウ&ゲイツに強大な敵が立ちふさがる….!?”
“Next time, a mighty enemey will stop Zi-O & Geiz….!?”

The image attached is of the yet to be released Zi-O and Geiz Figuarts posed as though they’ve just lost a fight, while Decade stands tall in the background, back facing them. This image is very likely teasing something a lot of people have been hoping for since news of Decade’s return in Zi-O was made known. Given his turned back, this could very well indicate a potential reissue of the Shinkocchou Seihou Decade S.H. Figuart, though with the new magenta Neo Decadriver instead.

While there’s nothing more concrete to go on than that, the popular consensus is that we could be seeing the Destroyer of Worlds return to destroy our wallets once more. Time will tell if this is anything more than just a tease, and if it is, we’ll be sure to let you know!

Toku Toy Box: S.H. Figuarts Shinkocchou Seihou Kamen Rider Ibuki Gallery

Posted on December 20, 2018 at 2:56 pm by Den-O under Contests and Giveaways, Kamen Rider, TokuNation, TokuNation Site Updates, TokuNation Spotlights

Iori Izumi was born into the head Oni family of the Kanto region. A prodigy driven by loyalty to his family, and to his duty to defeat the Makamou, Izumi fully abandoned his human identity and fully became the Oni of the Izumi family, Kamen Rider Ibuki! After nay years of waiting, this master Oni of Breath arrives blow away any Makamou that stand in his path. For the first time ever, Ibuki makes his debut in the S.H. Figuarts line as a Shinkocchou Seihou!

Kamen Rider Hibiki finally joined the S.H. Figuarts line for the first time over 4 years ago, as only the 2nd Shinkocchou Seihou release, which set the bar fairly high at the time. After a long wait Hibiki’s secondary rider has arrived, so what can you expect? Well Ibuki shares the same physical body as Hibiki, just with new cosmetic changes to the armor. Decked out with brass styled pipes mimicking the Ongekikan Reppuu instrument he uses to destroy Makamou. Much like Hibiki this figure is packed down with accessories including his transformation whistle Onibue, and 3 disc animals. It’s really the full package.

Remember, this gallery qualifies you for entry in our annual Toku Toy Box giveaway as well! As the upcoming holidays allow us, we’ll have at least a couple more new galleries for Toku Toy Box as well. Look out for Garo, Amazons, and Kamen Rider Ex-Aid content headed your way!

S.H.Figuarts Ride Striker Pre-Order Info

Posted on December 19, 2018 at 10:53 pm by Kiryu under Kamen Rider

RIDER TIME!

Another figure was recently added to the Kamen Rider Zi-O line up of S.H.Figuarts figures. That figure is, of course, the trusty motorcycle for our time traveling duos: The S.H.Figuarts Ride Striker!

S.H.Figuarts Ride Striker will be released in June as 6480 yen as a P-Bandai online item. The bike does include the Zikan Zax and Zikan Grade weapons for Figuarts Geiz and Zi-O respectively, so now buying the Ride Striker seems to be the only way to acquire weapons for them.

Toku Toy Box: S.H. Figuarts Shinkocchou Seihou Kamen Rider Wizard Flame Style Gallery

Posted on December 16, 2018 at 1:06 pm by Den-O under Contests and Giveaways, Kamen Rider, TokuNation, TokuNation Site Updates, TokuNation Spotlights

“Flame, Please.”

Haruto Soma was the only survivor of a dark Solar Eclipse ritual which saw the creation of a legion of monsters known as Phantoms. Assuming the likeness and identities of those humans they emerged from, Phantom’s invade the world of humans and use magic to wreak havoc. Only one man can stop them, the one who faced despair head on in the light of the eclipse and emerged to gain the power of magic from his hope. Haruto Soma became Kamen Rider Wizard!

FINALLY, after languishing for 6 years with one of the worst S.H. Figuarts ever made, the Shinkocchou Seihou renewal line has finally tackled the rider of hope! Kamen Rider Wizard Flame Style is possibly one of the most stunning and astounding figuarts I’ve ever handled. A magnificent recreation of a dynamic suit design, this stylish figure is everything that Wizard fans have ever wanted. Interchangeable Wizard Rings, a multi-mode WizardSwordGun, and fully poseable Wizard Robes(!), make this one of the nicest Seihou releases to date. But don’t just take my word for it, see 100+ images in our full gallery thread!

The full gallery is linked below, just click “Discuss on the TokuNation Forums” below to be taken to the complete review. Remember, this gallery qualifies you for entry in our annual Toku Toy Box giveaway as well! We’ll have another Toy Box gallery coming up this week to, as we revisit the Oni Riders of Kamen Rider Hibiki in over 4 years!

Kamen Rider and Ultraman S.H.Figuarts Coming to Gamestop?

Posted on December 15, 2018 at 2:24 pm by Kiryu under Kamen Rider, Ultraman

The S.H.Figuarts line’s been something of a fan favorite amongst collectors ever since the series first started. Many of us have been hoping that these figures will be easier to obtain domestically, and now it seems like collectors will finally have their chance. In a rather surprising turn of events, it seems that more S.H.Figuarts will be made available domestically for North American consumers at Gamestop of all places thanks to no part to our friends at BluFin. Among those are numerous Kamen Rider and Ultraman figures. Various listings appeared on Gamestop’s website the other night, as reported by various fans in the Toku community. The 20 Rider Kicks versions of the following Figuarts are up for pre-order as of this writing:

S.H.Figuarts Kamen Rider Build Tank Rabbit

  • S.H.Figuarts Kamen Rider Drive Type Speed
  • S.H.Figuarts Kamen Rider Blade
  • S.H.Figuarts Kamen Rider Gaim Orange Arms
  • S.H.Figuarts Kamen Rider Ryuki
  • S.H.Figuarts Kamen Rider Den-O Sword Form
  • In addition to three Ultraman figures:
    S.H.Figuarts Ultraman Blu Aqua
  • S.H.Figuarts Ultraman Rosso Flame
  • S.H.Figuarts Ultraman Zero

A screen grab from Gamestop’s own computers via Twitter user @ShadowThePika can confirm that these figures exist within the system and each one of these Figuarts will retail for reasonable 49.99 each and expected to ship out in February. Of course, we have no way of telling if Gamestop plans on carrying more of these in the future and it seems unlikely that they’ll carry anything P-Bandai exclusive. Still, this opens the floodgates for Kamen Rider collectibles to potentially come stateside!

Gamestop exists outside of North America as EB Games, and while the two companies operate under the same umbrella it’s currently not known they’ll follow suit. Stay tuned, and we at Tokunation will provide you an update to this exciting development as it’s made available.

Toku Toy Box: S.H. Figuarts Shinkocchou Seihou Kamen Rider W Luna/Trigger Gallery

Posted on December 11, 2018 at 7:59 pm by Den-O under Contests and Giveaways, Kamen Rider, TokuNation, TokuNation Site Updates, TokuNation Spotlights

“Luna/Trigger!”

Toku Toy Box continues on and it’s time we return to a windy city called Fuuto, to revisit everyone’s favorite half-boild detective! When Shotaro Hidari & Philip combine their minds they become one as Kamen Rider W! But when the situation calls for something else, new Gaia Memories give W the edge he (they?) needs to take on the Museum’s Dopants. Using the Luna & Trigger Memories, Kamen Rider W Luna/Trigger is formed!

The Shinkocchou Seihou line up of premium S.H. Figuarts renewals has been giving fans the long awaited do-overs they’ve requested for over 4 years now. Kamen Rider W Cyclone/Joker was perhaps one of the best figures to come out of this renewed line, though many many good figure’s have since as well. But that mold has proven to be near perfect in any of the various ways it’s been released. Luna/Trigger is just yet another amazing use of the Seihou W mold. If you know anything about this body type at all, you know you’re going to love this figure as well.

We’ve attached the full 60+ image gallery of S.H. Figuarts Shinkocchou Seihou Kamen Rider W Luna/Trigger to this post. You can also check out our full review thread of the figure by clicking “Discuss on the TokuNation Forums” at the bottom of this post. Next time Toku Toy Box gets *HOT* with a magical gallery from Kamen Rider Wizard!
