Kamen Rider Amazons: S.H. Figuarts Jungraider Gallery

Posted on April 13, 2017 at 3:20 pm by Den-O under Kamen Rider, TokuNation, TokuNation Site Updates, TokuNation Spotlights

Recently we took a look at one of the leads of the excellent Amazon Japan web series Kamen Rider Amazons with S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Amazon Omega. Well we’re mixing things up a bit today, before we take a look at the series other lead rider, Amazon Alpha, we’re going to take a look at Omega’s Rider Machine, the S.H. Figuarts Jungraider!

Believe it or not, the Jungraider should be familiar to many people whether they’ve seen Amazons or not. And that’s because this bike is part of Bandai’s long tradition of recycled old suits and props. In fact the Jungraider was made from Kamen Rider Gills very own Gills Raider! So the figuart is no different, it’s an excellent remold of the Gills Raider, released nearly 7 years ago! But that’s not all, the Jungraider also includes the last couple pieces of Amazon Omega’s arsenal, the Battler Grip Sickle & Battler Grip Whip! This is a truly interesting release that will compliment any Amazons collection.

We’ve put together over 40 images of S.H. Figuarts Jungraider after the jump. Just click “Discuss on the TokuNation Forums” after the jump to see the full gallery & review. We’ll be back with more Amazons goodness soon with a full gallery of S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Amazon Alpha!

S.H. Figuarts Mole Amazon Official Images & Release Info

Posted on April 12, 2017 at 8:09 pm by Den-O under Kamen Rider

Seen recently on display at the Tamashii Nations Akiba showroom, and now confirmed for actual release, is S.H. Figuarts Mole Amazon!

The 5th S.H. Figuarts release thus far from the wildly popular Kamen Rider Amazons web series, Mole Amazon is also the first character released from the show to not be an actual rider. Mole (Mamoru ) was of course the lovable and childlike Amazon who was part of the Nozama Peston Service with a penchant for eating hamburgers. So what release of this figure would complete without it’s own hamburger accessory!? Bandai has you covered there. Mole Amazon also includes parts to recreate his savage take down of Amazon Sigma and an open mouth part.

S.H. Figuarts Mole Amazon will be released in October 2017 as a Tamashii Web Exclusive for 7020 yen. Be sure to get in touch with your preferred exclusives middleman or service to reserve one soon!

S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Amazon Omega (Amazon JP Edition) Gallery

“AMAZON!”

Do you believe in Amazon yet? Well if not then it’s time to change your opinion! The fantastic Amazon Japan series Kamen Rider Amazons has been a runaway success since it’s first season premiered last year. With the 2nd season having just begun this week, we thought it was finally time to take a look at the first figure release from season 1 with S.H. Figuarts Kamen Amazon Omega (Amazon JP Edition)!

Haruka Mizusawa had the roles of Kamen Rider and Amazon thrust upon him, changing the very core of his being. And while we can’t answer for you what it means to be human or Amazon in this review, we can definitely tell you whether or not you need this figure. Minor qualms aside, Amazon Omega is a more than serviceable release that comes with way more accessories than your average retail figuart. Particularly with this Amazon JP Edition of the figure which includes green flame effects. But honestly it’s just a great looking figuart, and if you’re a fan of the series then you need to own him.

Check out over 70 images of S.H. Figuarts Kamen Amazon Omega after the jump by clicking “Discuss on the TokuNation Forums” at the bottom of this post. We’ll be back back soon with a follow up to this gallery with S.H. Figuarts Jungraider!

S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider J Gallery

Posted on March 28, 2017 at 7:31 pm by Den-O under Kamen Rider, TokuNation, TokuNation Site Updates, TokuNation Spotlights

“Henshin!”

It’s been a long time coming but I’m happy to announce my return to TokuNation galleries! And it’s time to take a look at the long awaited final Showa Rider, Kamen Rider J! J rounds out the trinity of movie exclusive riders from the post-RX era that is still considered Showa by Toei. The 3 films,Shin, ZO, & J are some of my favorite guilty pleasures. Each for differnet reasons. So it brings me great pleasure to finally own all 3 of these figures. This has been nearly 3 years in the making.

Kamen Rider J, you’ll notice has a very similar design to ZO. Which is intentional, but has also caused many people to mistake the two for one another for years. But when you get down to it, they are both very very different. The two figuarts themselves don’t share a bit of molding at all that I can determine, so J winds up with his own unique personality from ZO. While not perfect, J is an admirable send off to the Showa Era of Kamen Rider. Now let’s hope his iconic Rider Machine, the J-Crosser, is on the way soon.

Check out our full 50 image gallery of S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider J by clicking “Discuss on the TokuNation Forums” at the bottom of this post. We’ll be back soon with a few overdue galleries from Kamen Rider Drive, Tokkei Winspector, Kamen Rider Amazons, and more!

S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Dark Drive Type Next Revealed

Posted on March 11, 2017 at 11:49 am by Den-O under Kamen Rider

Often hoped for by fans of Kamen Rider Drive, but until now unseen at various Tamashii Nations events, we now have our first look at yet another figuart from the series. On display at the Tamashii Nations Akiba Showroom right now is none other than S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Dark Drive Type Next!

Dark Drive was of course the villain of Drive’s summer film, Surprise Future. Now unfortunately for the time being we don’t have any release details for this figure. But given that it’s now on display at the Akiba Showroom, release details could follow in the near future. Stay tuned here for updates!

S.H. Figuarts Ultraman Orb Origin & Origin The First Confirmed for Release

Posted on February 23, 2017 at 10:49 pm by Den-O under Ultraman

The light of the galaxy has called twice this time! The recently concluded Ultraman Orb series left us all a bit confused when Bandai failed to make any announcements about S.H. Figuarts releases based on it. Luckily they’ve now swept back in with a double whammy of figures.

S.H. Figuarts Ultraman Orb Origin, once thought to be Orb’s original form, is now slated for release! Set for August 2017, Orb Origin will retail for for 5500 yen and be sold at normal retail. He includes his Orb Calibur weapon as well, other accessory breakdowns are not known at the time of this writing.

Hot on the heels of that release we also have news of S.H. Figuarts Ultraman Orb Origin The First! Origin The First is a form for Orb exclusive to the Origin Saga film and is presumably the original base form for the character. While we don’t have any information on the accessories that will come with this figure, we do know that it will release in August 2017 as well, and retail for 5500 yen. However this figure in particular is also marketed as an Amazon Japan Exclusive release. So you’ll most likely need to make arrangements with a middleman service or site to obtain it.

We’ll keep you up to date as more information on this pair of releases becomes available.

S.I.C. Shin Zangetsu & Ultra-Act X S.H. Figuarts Bemular Official Images & Info

Posted on February 15, 2017 at 8:25 pm by Den-O under Kamen Rider, Ultraman

A pair of new Tamashii Web Exclusive releases have just been added to the Tamashii Nations website! Seen previously as Tamashii Nations 2016, first up we have S.I.C. Kamen Rider Shin Zangetsu! The first of the second generation Gaim riders to receive the S.I.C. treatment, Shin Zangetsu looks to be a stellar release. He’ll be priced at 8856 yen.

And adding to the surprisingly growing roster of Ultraman Manga releases is the new Ultra-Act X S.H. Figuarts Bemular!  The sleek new Bemular was likewise shown off at Tamashii Nations 2016, and will be released as a Web Exclusive alongside Zangetsu in July 2017. Beular retails for 7560 yen.

Be sure to get in touch with your preferred Tamashii Web Exclusive middleman or service in the near future to secure your orders for either of these excellent releases.

S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Amazon Sigma Official Images & Info

Posted on January 25, 2017 at 8:24 pm by Den-O under Kamen Rider

Perhaps the most twisted of the three Amazon riders finally arrives to join your S.H. Figuarts collection! Arriving this July is S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Amazon Sigma!

Amazon Sigma had been revealed previously at Tamashii Nations 2016, but this set of official images gives us our best look at the figure yet. Unlike the previous two Amazons releases (Alpha & Omega), Sigma actually includes a recolored Tamashii Flame Effect set already. Rather than it being a pack in for the Amazon.JP edition as with the other two. However Sigma is also a Tamashii Web Exclusive which may be a bummer to some collectors.

S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Amazon Sigma will be release in July 2017 for 6696 yen. Be sure to get in touch with your favorite middleman or web exclusive service soon to secure an order for one!

S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Heart Type Miracle Official Images & Info

Posted on January 18, 2017 at 8:26 pm by Den-O under Kamen Rider

Kamen Rider Drive continues it’s steady pace of new releases with yet another new announcement! Seen previously at Tamashii Nations 2016 in October, we now have official release details for S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Heart Type Miracle!

Kamen Rider Heart, the special form Heart assumes in the V-Cinema bearing his name, is itself a reuse of the Drive Type Tridoron suit. And like the suit itself, this figure is an intricate repaint & remold of Type Tridoron. Though much like the original SHF Heart Roidmude release, it’s pretty lacking on the accessories. On 2.5 sets of hands and the Heartron Shift Car are included with this release.

S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Heart Type Miracle will be released in June for for 6264 yen as a Tamashii Web Exclusive. Be sure to contact your favorite middleman site or service in the near future to secure an order for this upcoming release!
